Just a word of encouragement -- according to our Postmaster, a delivery confirmation ONLY confirms that a package was mailed and then delivered to the address on the package. Some post offices scan the bar code as the package makes its way to a destination, but they are not required to. Usually the postmaster's of individual post offices will only have packages scanned when they are trying to identify delivery problems.
So if the delivery status is just showing that the package was "received" you are still ok......
