Clarification Thread on Made In China... I don't know about anyone else but I would love some clarification regarding "Nothing from China" requests...I know when we first started "nothing" meant absolutely "Nothing from China", however I've read so many posts lately that many YT members didn't get rid of their plush items...So, do you think it would be helpful to post on here your definitive regarding items made in China? I'll start - Lucy would rather not have any rubber/plastic items Made In China, however plush toys are perfectly fine :) |
Zoey has plush made in China. I just dont buy food products (treats) made in China. |
Good idea!! Beau can't have treats (allergies not China thing) and he doesn't want anything with paint on it from china. Plush is GREAT though! |
Plush is OK but it has to be tiny plush since Izzy has a teeny-tiny mouth and can't carry around the big stuff. Just no treats or painted stuff from China. :D |

Rocky too no treats and plastic toys from China fuzzys and clothes are fine for him |
Lacie says just don't send her something you wouldn't give your own baby... How's that for being safe???? |
:goodpost: We are fine with plush clothing/toys from China - for one, they can be washed and two, you can't get by with NOT buying anything from China (that would be way to hard and stressful and we do NOT want that for our GE buddies) We are strict on treats anyway...so NO TREATS FROM CHINA! Most of the treats they eat or human grade premium treats and they are not from China anyway. AND the kiddo's have never liked latex or rubber toys, so we always ask for NO items like that to begin with... Just have fun shopping for us! |
We don't do Rubber toys even it they are not made in china Mine just don't like them and the big dog just chews them up. Anything else we are fine with:) |
Hey guys, not all toys form China are contaminated. Loopies, Busy Buddy & Sqeeze Meeze have all been tested and are perfectly safe. The manufacturers are working on it, but it's hard to even find a place to have toys made here, unfortunately. :( |
Plush is fine not vinyl painted ones. Thanks. |
We ordered Gizmo the little dragon on Barkaholics and he really likes it. :) So, I trust the laytex/rubber toys from Erin's site if she says they have been tested. (She puts a note on the description to let you know if that item was tested.) I just couldn't do without a squeaky toy for Gizmo! lol We're okay with plush toys from China also. We prefer no treats from China. However, homemade treats and others are fine. :) |
we prefer plush toys all together...rubber toys don't last around here at all!!! |
no rubber or latex here!! anything else is good |

We're not picky...call me a mean mom...but whatever you get us, we will be grateful! After all, it is almost Thanksgiving :) |
Plush toys are fine and clothing from China....just NO rubber or laytex toys. We never have given Hallee or Gracie rubber or laytex toys anyway. Also NO treats from China. |
Benji loves his squeaky balls so I don't know where I stand on this no china thing. I guess it is up to whatever his secret buddy thinks about the issue. |
