Hurry up snail mail!!!
 
I want to sign up for the GE but have to wait on the good ole postal service. My paypal account had to be updated and they had to send me a password via snail mail to confirm my residence! It was to come in 3-7 days and that was of last Wednesday, so HOPEFULLY it will be today!!! And I can't send any money till i get the pass word to enter in to my paypal site. grrrrr:mad:
Come on mail I need to send my donation so I can sign up!!!!!!!!:thumbup:

OK so i got to reading some more. I have been a member since May. But I will just become a donating member today........

From the way I understand I am still eligible to sign up by the end of today (31st) as long as I have my $25 or more donation in before i do, right?

You will be eligible for the current Gift Exchange if you donate and sign up in the Gift Exchange thread before the end of the day today. Otherwise, there will be another one in about 3 months or so. Thank you.

darn it darn it darn it darn it:mad::mad::mad: Stupid snail mail. The letter didn't come today. :mad::mad: lol! Can you guess I'm bummed. I have almost $200 in my paypal acct and have been saving it for that one special rainy day. When I realized there was a GE going to happen I thought, what a perfect way to spend it!! Though I would have become a DM anyways;) This site has been so helpful and supportive. I was hoping to get a girl so I could buy all those fancy girly things I never got to get for my Allie Baby:tinyheart

I don't know much about PayPal...but can't you call them or something??

yes i did call them (# on the back of my Paypal debit card) last week. When i logged onto my paypal last week and saw I had to verify 3 diff things cause there was suspicion of a 3rd party on my acct recently. I called them to make sure everything was legit. Since I had to change my password, verify bank acct info and verify residential address. They told me on the phone there was no way around the residential addy verification. I was pretty ticked cause i had just won an eBay auction and suddenly had no way to pay for it!:confused: I had to send the seller a check which is something i don't ever do for ebay. So I guess it's good in a way Paypal is being so cautious but it's also been a total PIA, lol!

I'm just disappointed I'm going to miss this deadline. i had already gotten myself hyped up for it:D
