Where is everyone? I would love to reconnect with those who love to sew doggie clothes. I am looking for the many, many people who used to frequent this board... I stopped coming on this board 4 years ago due to death of my hubby, and now, it seems everyone I knew is gone or at another place. Where are they? Surely not everyone stopped loving making clothes??? |

Been a little less active lately. I get a email to the threads I'm on and come back and read. I love this site more then I ever loved fb when I was on it. People are a lot nicer on here then on there <3 |

I still make Cali's yearly Derby dress and hat, as well as my own hat, but I'm into machine embroidering now so all her dresses are embroidered it seems. Winter is coming so she will be back into wearing things to stay warm now! I saw Connie on the other day I think -- she did a lot lol sweing and designing. |

yuck! Once again ladies I've searched the internet looking at dresses, and am so disappointed! We used to sew some gorgeous dresses and especially at Christmas. Guess I will go and look at the old Christmas Ball videos and stare at the babies. |
Hello... I agree that YT use to be a huge part of my life but that was a long time ago. I feel my life is much better and my stress is less with less frequent visits. RubysMom, I sew but it seems as if my business has come to stand still. I am always looking for new customers but it seems as if FB has been overrun by the doggy clothing industry. I am just a women with a small in home business who just wants to sew for anyone who wants to give my Pet Wear a try and make a little money in the process. :( |

I was just sharing that I mostly use the Miss Daisy Design patterns. I like that they have sleeves and piping and she has hat patterns too. Every year Cali has to have two dresses and hats for the horse races the first weekend in May One for the Oaks the day before the Kentucky Derby and then one for the actual Derby. The Derby is all about fashion as well as fast horses :D We usually go with fascinators because it is a long days and we don't like heavy, large hats for all day. Love to hear about the occasions your pups have outfits for! |
Cool! Am trying my first fascinator......hope it works out for me. Just learning to make hats. Want to try sleeves, collars, etc. I have sewed for a very long time, Yorkies about 12 years. Really don't have occasions but love holidays, Christmas, Halloween, 4th of July, Valentines Day, Easter. This Valentine's Day Cheyenne gets the outfit. She loves wearing dresses and being my model. I use patterns very little these days as I make my own things, well designs, from cardboard, old cereal boxes, etc. Which is why I am concentrating on collars,sleeves. Guess I just love making Yorkie dresses. |
A new Boutique Hi everyone! Time passes so quickly doesn't it? OK I have been sewing and sewing and found an outlet Pretty Puppy Pet Boutique, a group, on Facebook to take some of my creations, blunders, oh mys, etc. to share with others. Boy, the doggie fashion business has exploded since I last looked over 4 years ago! There are groups all over FB. Perhaps that is where everyone went! You are welcome to come and look and see and join up to see. I've only posted 4 dresses, but have many more. Still miss posting here and everyone who used to post. So far we have Yorkie owners and many Yorkie clothes are coming! |
