looking for recommendations on clothing brands for long but thin dogs my girl weighs 4 lbs and her back measures around 10 inches. When I try sweaters on her, they end up hitting too short and look like crop tops lol. But I'm worried about going up in size because I don't want them baggy to the point she walks out of them Any brands recs? Not too pricey hopefully |
Your best bet is custom. |
My little girl is a skinny 4.6 lb and seems to have a longer body as well- some clothes just look silly on her! I bought her the cutest pair of Jammie's last winter and they totally didn't fit because of her length. Though I haven't found a specific brand a lot of clothes do seem to work for us maybe jut a little hit and miss- lulu pink is a fun one I like :) I'm eyeing this thread for re commendations! |
Custom is best. I like Martha Stewart clothes at PetSmart |
My Pheebee is skinny and long also.(she's 4 pounds and 10-11 inches long)...so far walmart xxs and petco xxs has work for us. |
I would have to agree, custom is best ! You get the perfect fit and you also get to choose your own fabrics. :) I've never ever been able to find a store bought brand that fits the way I want it to. |
any recommendations for where to order custom items? |

if you can not find what you want from Dawn, check the vendor listing page here and also check on ETSY there are lots of pet clothes on there. Once I started buying custom made and now that I learned to sew I never buy store bought, LOL I like Lola to have one of a kind outfits, not be seen in something that many other dogggies have |
