Well its been a while since YT's last Design Challenge and boy do I miss them.
I though since a lot of us are hibernating or snowed in with this horrible weather we are having this winter we might as well do something to keep us busy!

So, this is a design challenge with a twist . .

:sewmachin :giftbox: YT's First Sewing Challenge & Exchange :giftbox: :sewmachin

Objective: To Make and Exchange One Handmade item
for another that was make for your Yorkie by another YT Seamstress.

Even Exchange / One Item for another !!


* You choose which of your Yorkies to join. (Male or Female)
* You choose what item to make. (Must be a Clothing items)
* You design & make the item. (No store bought items)
* Each person is responsible for shipping cost. (US Only)
* Each seamstress is to use their own judgment when it comes to cost restraints.

I will than draw names to see who gets who and Post the list here on February 7th. Than each of you are responsible for messaging one another to exchange addresses.

* If additional information/measurement are needed please message the person who you are paired with.


Remember: When signing up please remember that our Yorkies come in all different sizes and when doing so you are obligated to make an item of clothing for any size Yorkie you are paired with. Also that YT is full of a variety of talent some new to sewing and some have been sewing for years. So, lets take what we know and put it to the challenge!

When Signing Up Include:

Measurements: Chest / Neck / Length

Choose only three (3) words for each that best describes your pups style: :aimeeyork
(These are only suggestions the seamstress will have full control over the design).

* Finished Items will be displayed in a separate thread.

Sender: Provide (2) Pictures of the item itself.
Receiver: Provide (2) pictures of your Yorkie modeling the item.


* A volunteer is needed for making a Smilebox once all items have been finished and posted.

Deadline for sign up: February 14th / Deadline for shipping: March 7th

Im not very good at details so please message me and let me know if there is anything that should be noted or changed to make this event run smoothly. As much as I hate to limit the challenge to the US members only I feel that the shipping cost world wide would discourage others from participating but if someone has a solution, I would love to hear it. I am looking forward to the challenge and to seeing the talent of all of our YT seamstresses' displayed and modeled by our pups !!

There is only one week left before the deadline to get signed up for the challenge.

Sadly my idea just did not get as much interest as I had hoped.
So, if at least 4 member are interested in doing and get signed up
for the challenge, it will need to be postpone the for a later date.
