I like Aymee's idea but I think it would be nice if we chose each others photo for their challenge. We could do the choosing like we would a gift exchange. I am so sorry but I guess I am a spoil sport, I don't want to make anything I don't want to make or own, I guess that's why I don't want to sell anything. But I will admit it would be fun to watch what everyone comes up with.

You would be the one to make it and Lola would wear it. It would totally be your design. My suggestion was that another member (one of us) would choose the (inspiration) for the article that you make. Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly, I do tend to ramble !! :D

I though it was a nice idea and I would defiantly be willing to try it at least once. We all have very creative mind and I think that the inspiration challenge would be worth doing. Make it Your Own !

Example: I see a soft fabric maybe a chenille with an overlay of gold sheer, with sparling beads and a soft peach satin ribbon.

If I understand you, you are saying that we would exchange names and if I 'drew' your name, I would find a photo to send to you and you would then use that photo as the inspiration for your design?????

I guess I am a spoil sport too. My problem is I have limited access to fabric stores. Plus, I have a very large stash of fabric and supplies at home that I prefer to use before buying more. I love the idea, but I would rather choose my own inspiration....does that make sense?

I sorta like both ideas...it would be a fun challenge to see how different the designs would be. I'll do whatever we decide maybe we should do both. one where its your own photo of inspiration an one that is choosen for you, two seperate challenges??

I think that's a good idea. I would do both also.

You are very creative!

I will do whatever too, but I believe it would feel too much like a "homework assignment" to have someone else pick my project for me.....and, I am on summer break. :p

You hit the nail on the head. I already have daily studies at home and more "homework" is not something I really want to do.

I have a little stash that I got from my mother. Some are quit outdated but you never know when someone will like it. Plus a have been adding to it every two weeks when DH gets paid so that I can add to my fabric choices for BDDD.

I really was only trying to elaborate on the idea the Aymee suggested. I would love to do it ! :)
