Lazy Daze of Summer Design Challenge #2 Ok, our deadline is May 31st. Im Fished with one all except the velcro, and hopes to get another one done before the deadline. I'm going to try to get several done before I do the velcro, sort of like and assembly line. |

Ok I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem ? The red and white striped material that I am using for the other challenge is smearing when I iron it and bleeding into the white. I though it may be due to the steam. So I switched it to cotton/ no steam and still, same thing. It's Very frustrating and it's making me Angry !! I've put in too much work into my dresses for them to be ruined....Ugh !! HELP, is there any way that I can set the color to stop it from smearing? |
dawn I just got my striped fabric today, so now I to am worried, I will have to let you know I have finished three summer ones, yeah, I am in love with two, and one so so. I have one more summer one to make and then the Red White and blue one, should have some photos to Heather before the end of the weekend. |

I just pressed and It did not run a bit, I don't plan on washing them. Lola has so many outfits that they never seem to get dirty because I only put them on her for a walk around the neighborhood or if we are going out. even though the fabric is washable I have so many embellishments and the d ring on them I am not sure how they would look, after going through the machine. I also like the crisp look that sizing from the store gives the fabric. However selling the stuff might be different since you don't know what someone will be doing with the item once they have it home. A few times I have had to spot clean something but that was just about it. |
I just started working on mine yesterday. This is a busy time of the school year for me, but I will get them finished on time. I hope to work on them more today. I am making two for the Summer theme since I have two girls. :) I can't wait to see everyone's creations!!! |
I hate this, but will have to skip this one. The daily treatments are getting to me now and on top of it I am trying so hard to get in the mood to sew the dresses I cut out for the dog show before this started. I am pretty exhausted now each day and I am SO far behind on things that need to be done. Cannot wait until it is all over and I can be back to normal. I will be looking forward to seeing everyone's designs!! :) |
