I picked up my material but after looking for about an hour I am not happy with the selection. I had an idea in mind when I left but came home with some thing not even close. So, my creative juices are on overload trying to come up with the perfect design. The only plus was that I pick up a ruffler for my machine in the hopes it will move things along a little quicker rathere than doing it by hand.

Hope the rest of you all are having better luck than I am.

Maybe you could get on line, choose your fabric and send someone off to the fabric store for you. :thumbup:

Speaking of a patriotic theme . .

My DD wanted jean short with flag pockets for the annual Tug Fest and 4 Wheel Jamboree. They were just too much money so I offered to do them for her. Of course we could not find a larger print star. Its more country than an American Flag but she wouldn't wait for more material to come in, so there ya go !

Anny, it is fine to do patriotic from your country. I meant to add that to my post. I don't see why you couldn't knit something. I can't wait to see what you come up with. I'm glad you are joining in.

Thanks I though they turned out OK ! Of course she wasn't happy with them but oh well what can ya do. Kids are never satisfied.

If your going to knit something for the challenge, you mush be super fast. Cant wait to see what you come up with. You could also add some ribbons to give your knitting for a splash of collor.

Thanks Donna, and yeah somewhat !

She always has something to complain about. She is the one that did the shaping and pressing for the pocket and than threw a fit because one corner was off by a smidgin.. :confused: Ya just cant win !

I hate this, but will have to skip this one. The daily treatments are getting to me now and on top of it I am trying so hard to get in the mood to sew the dresses I cut out for the dog show before this started. I am pretty exhausted now each day and I am SO far behind on things that need to be done. Cannot wait until it is all over and I can be back to normal.
I will be looking forward to seeing everyone's designs!! :)

Sorry that you wont be joining in on this one Ann, I completely understand. Priority and your health should always come first.

I've finished mine and need to get photos. Im so lucky that Ruby works for treats or I don't know how I would get them done.

oh linda i hope you are feeling better real soon. i know you have so much going on. if i can be of any help......even if you need me to sew those dresses that you have cut and ready. prayers for you to feel better soon.
