need red and white striped fabric I have been on the hunt for a cotton or cotton blend red and white striped fabric, like the stripes in a flag. The fabric stores near me don't have it. I have checked on line and you have to order at least a yard, all I need is about 7" long x about 24" wide. By the time I would order the full yard and pay shipping, it's to much money to make it worth it. If anyone has any scrap like that laying around I would gladly pay you for it. Or if you are shopping and see it could you buy 7" and I will again pay you for that plus shipping, it should fit in fairly small envelope. I shop at JoAnn's and all they had was a very thin red and white stripe which I don't want, needs to be like the flag. Thanks |
Try Walmart, Im pretty sure that I saw some there or a Kmart. Some of the Kmart stores still have fabric. |
the wallmart near me converted to a superstore and got rid of the fabric, then they put a Joann's in the same strip center so I doubt they will bring the fabric stuff back, which is sad because it was a nice department. If you go to wallmart could you check for me. |

around an inch if possible, I don't want a thin stripe like ticking While there can you see if they have a navy fabric with white stars, like the Wallmart link on the bottom I want just 7" of both. If you find it that would be great, I checked the closest to me is over 30 miles and theydo not have the red and white stripe. thank you for checking, I really appreciate that. I might be having some luck Karen from Graciepaws, from where I got Ruby's harness dress said she has some and will send it if you could not find it. I called the Hobby Lobby closest to me, which is over 3miles each way. The gal said we have some, I asked her to measure the stripe she said it was just under an inch, I said can you please measure and she comes back and says 4 mm so I do the math and that is about an 1/8 of an inch, so I am glad I did not make the drive of 30 miles each way. thanks for those links, one is a oil cloth, sort of like slicker material and the other looks like a jersey, I am in search of a cotton, but the style and color of the stripe is exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks for checking for me, that was very nice of you. |

Maybe a red and white striped tablecloth would be good to use. I don't know what stores you have near you. Like Bed Bath and Beyond, KMart or Home Goods. Good luck in your search! |
