Quilters...anyone??? I know this is a fashion section, but I thought I would share something for all the YT quilters or wanna be quilters. I love this facebook page. Jenny makes beautiful quilts and does great tutorials. I have been watching her tutorials for some time now. I have made a couple of her designs and I have gotten many ideas for future quilts. :D https://www.facebook.com/QuiltingDeals Enjoy!:) |

Plus she has tutorials for other projects too. I made a couple of the stuffed carrots and put squeakers in them for Easter toy for the pups. |
I have not heard of this shop. I will check it out! I've been a quilter for years. Worked in quilt shop, sold machines, taught quilt classes and machine embroidery classes for around 12 yrs. I miss it! Since moving here and getting settled, I haven't been as into it as I was, but am slowly getting back. I have been thinking of making dog clothes now. Might be a fun thing to do. Got the new serger that threads it's own bottom loopers! What a time saver and no bad words need to be said!! ;) |
Oh, I love quilting....it's my passion! I really love Missouri Star Quilt, I have it saved on my homepage and watch tutorials all the time. My latest thing is I'm free motion quilting on my machine and it's so much fun, but it's going to take much practice! |

I found this site and this girl is amazing with free motion and has some wonderful youtubes. Look up Leah Day youtubes on free motion quilting. Her websites will be listed there. |
I quilt too. I've made all three of my kids quilts from all their baby receiving blankets I saved. What was suppose to be a baby size blanket ended up a twin size for all three!!! Now I'm making a quilt for my fur baby zooey. And that looks like it may turn out huge too. Lol. But its fun! |

I learned to hand quilt from my mother and older sister. I still love to hand quilt, but I love the machine quilting designs that are popular now. |

I would love to have a quilting machine but do not have the space and they are expensive wow:eek: I will post some pictures of my rag quilts and look for some of my other quilts if you like. thanks for starting this thread... it has reminded me of an ole passion:) |
