Ok, again, I am NO seamstress. I can't sew to save my life. BUT, I can cut holes with scissors to destroy sock. hehe

Made these 2 for my niece's Chihuahua puppy, Gilbert. I know it ain't much but if you knew how NON-crafty I am, you'd be proud! Ha! :D;)

...Thought I'd throw the 3rd pic in so you could see is cute face. Sending this to my niece in the hospital via text so he can say good morning to mommy :)

Gilbert is so cute! Glad he is feeling fine after yesterday's excitement! Hope Jada is doing ok. You are a good aunt to keep Gilbert.

Thank goodness there actually is one more person that knows as little as I do about sewing!!!!! I have a drawer full of these creations myself!!! I have also used the sleeve of some pretty sweaters that my son had outgrown...... or for a more "formal" look, you can actually use a sleeve from a shirt that has a buttom cuff, that goes at the neck!

I thought I was the only one who did that! lol! I used to cut the sleeves off of my old sweatshirts and make them into clothes for Boog :)

Cute pup! Great job on the sweaters! Sure beats the heck out of knitting! (I'm stuck on a pattern, lol... have been for a week now!)

Thanks you all! Oh, I know I could never knit. If I can sew a hem, I better keep away from those giant needles! That would be an accident waiting to happen for sure hehe

Oh, and he's doing great today! Terri, on the other hand, is extremely TIRED lol

Basically, I just measured from his neck to his butt and then again the distance from neck to front legs and distance between front legs. I used the top of the sock and the "neck" and measured down his length and cut the rest of the sock off. Then measured and cut two little arm holes.

I used trial and error after putting it on to figure out how much to "scoop" cut off the bottom so he had clearance to pee.

Since these were fuzzy socks, I actually took a lighter and singed around all the cut areas so the fuzzies wouldn't keep coming off. :)

Gotta love sock sweaters and onesie dresses for the crafty-impaired gals like myself :D thanks for the idea...now to find some cute socks.

Lol! They used the toe of the sock as a little hat...haha
