Clothes size question
 
I want to surprise one of my friends with a few Martha Stewart outfits for her yorkie Zigs is 6 1/2 -7 lbs and her maltese Bella is 5 1/2 lbs. She is in love with a MS outfits. I have no idea what sizes to get. If anyone can help I would greatly appricate it.

Rosie is about 6 lb and she wars a small in most things. Don't know if that helps.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how Martha Stewarts dog clothing runs. Some of the stuff is just too cute.

MS clothes tend to be kind of short and wide. A small is loose on Saydee in width but is short on her. She is 8lbs, It really depends on the build of the dog too.... They are like people...some are short and fat and some are long and skinny and can weigh about the same. Do you know the dogs' measurements too?

Martha Stewart mediums are way too big for my Saydee, but fit good in length, so I would go with a small for a 6-7 pound dog. Is this at Petsmart? Most Petrsamrt XS are really tiny. My Minnie generally wears an XS, but I have to get her a small there. I purchased her a S in the MS line and had to take seams in it and move the straps over, but I'm not sure how their XS runs. Without the measurements, it is really hard to say. I know I'm no help, :confused:

never knew she had Pet Clothes, is there anything that woman is not into...... If you can buy the stuff at a store and if it is returnable buy both sizes and keep the receipt. I do that all the time, I just ordered sweaters and Pj's from Wallmart in two sizes, wow were their smalls large, so I will keep the XS and return the Small

Yeah she has her hands in everything. Her line is carried in Petsmart. But her sizes look different to their line.

I do this too. I don't have a good eye for what will fit them. I'm pretty good at sizing them at Walmart, but WalMart PJ's are way off from their other dog clothes. Petsmart kills me because there is a big difference between their sizes and it seems that my pups all fall in the gap. :)
