Who do you order your Christmas/Holiday dresses/harnesses from for your pups to wear for your holiday cards?

And if you don't mind answering this, about how much do you spend on it?

Last year I bought a christmas dress on clearance at Target for 3.00 and a matching boys Santa claus outfit for 3.00 (in anticipation of getting another dog even though Mike said no, glad I did :D) So I just plan on using those... but I kinda want to get something custom but that might get me in some trouble!:eek::p:rolleyes::) I'm probably of no help, but I'm curious to see other peoples answers as well :)

No that was helpful! I was thinking of maybe going the custom route too but it just seems so expensive. It wouldn't be a big deal if they could just rewear it but I have a 5 month old girl that is getting fatter by the minute haha

Have you looked into seeing if any of the YT vendors will be making any custom Christmas outfits? There are some very talented seamstresses here and from what I've seen so far, they are very reasonable on prices also.

I have used Connie, Fairytailfashions, and Aymee for Christmas dresses. But I have used many vendors here for other occasions. You can't go wrong! I prefer customs just because they fit my pups perfectly!

Well I know that I'll definitely be using a YT vendor if I do go for a custom made outfit. I've used a few vendors on here and am very pleased with their work and most likely will be going back to them for a custom made Christmas outfit if I do decide on getting one made. I was just curious to see who everyone else uses. Any pictures of your custom Christmas/Holiday outfits from the past too would be awesome! I need a matching boy and girl outfit so I just looked at already made outfits online and :eek: they are expensive!

I know I just did a quick search to see what was available and my mouth is still open from some of the prices:eek:. My lil girl will come home in a few weeks, so I think I will be doing a custom made dress for her 1st Christmas, since she will still be so small. But like you, I would LOVE to see pictures of what others have dressed their babies up in for past Holidays! I just love looking at cute pups all dressed up:D!

Mikki's first christmas was just a Walmart dress. I am also including the girls dresses that they wore on Valentines Day. The pink dress Rosie is in was made by Cathy (107barney) and Mikki's dress was by Fairytailfashions.com.

except for a few Wallmart dresses which can be pretty nice for the price, I always go custom, to me if you find the right people it is much less expensive than the fancy on line boutiques. I have had things made by Sherry, (norma) Michele (Jadabug) and Kathy (KJC) along with some friends from my meetup group and a few from Etsy. I often supply the fabric and trim, this way I get what I want. I also want to give a few other YT vendors like Aymee a try. It seems like through FB I have gotten connected with other yorkie people that spend big bucks on designer outfits, I think that is crazy but I love looking at their stuff because I get great ideas, Now LOL if I could just sew!

We just do Christmas sweaters around here... Khloe is more of a tom boy so I don't get her dresses. I just found some cute Halloween sweaters (skulls, skeletons, pumpkins etc) at Wal-Mart for $7.97. I know they will have similar stuff for Christmas.

You can also get pretty good deals through the vendors here. You would probably just have to wait a little bit to order for your puppy... You wouldn't want her to outgrow it before Christmas :p

We are doing more casual this year for Christmas pics too...sweaters or maybe Santa and his little elf:p
