Macayla's new dress 4 Attachment(s) I made this for Macayla yesterday...still haven't decided on a bow or lace to embelish it...I kind of like it plain. Fabric at Hancock Fabric, no pattern. It was a harness vest for Chewie but was a little too snug for him, so I added a 3 inch addition to it to make it longer and then added a 3 inch gathered hem. Still not long enough for my liking, but looks good on her I think. We can live with it. She seems to like it and is a fantastic little model (once she learned she gets some yummy cheese for the modeling work LOL!) Nevermind her messy hair.... |
Very pretty, you did a good job, plus she is adorable. |
I think it is darling, you could add a white satin ribbon around the top of the skirt or a white or red bow with a contrasting button in the center of the bow. I am going to send you a link to a gal that has been making me the cutest harness dresses that are sort of like yours, they have a short 3" ruffle skirt on the bottom which I love because it is not so fussy like a longer dress but more than just a harness. I love the lenght it looks great on your dog |
Thanks Donna for the link...I will have to make a small bow....good idea for contrasting button on the bow :) |
Boy, I wish TWO things.... 1. That I could sew like that 2. That I had a girl to sew for a not a boy (Zachary who I wouldn't trade for anything) LOVE the dress!! Louise |
too precious!!! |
Adorable! Wishing I could sew too! |
OMgosh, now that is cute...great job! Macayla looks adorable in her pretty dress and I just love the pictures of her...perfect little model:thumbup: I bet the bow and button would so cute too...great idea! I'm going to have to try the bow/button idea, since I can't tie a decent bow. |
Very cute! Love the fabric! I like the shorter dresses for summer... too hot to cover their butts completely... plus Yorkies have some of the cutest butts going, lol. I like the 'bow' idea too. |
That is adorable! I actually really really like the length of it...perfect for not getting in the way when running and playing! |
really cute. Love your dog . |
Oh, how cute is that! I love your fabric choice! She looks great! :) |
Very cute! I'm hoping to learn to sew my little Tinka some clothes. |
