Hey guys! Anyone getting crafty this week? Do tell! ;)

June and July has been so busy for me with family stuff. We are going to the beach next week but then I'm hoping in August I can get back in the groove. Tomorrow I've got more dresses to finish. So I better get up early and get to it. Lol. What are you up to? :)

Hey there! As for me... still trying to get rid of this stomach bug that keeps coming back to haunt me for the past month! And some other medical issues... but may sew some tonight....

i did get one summa dress done in a new patter of fabrics!! hoping to do two more by friday!

I recently counted that I've made Heidi 11 harness / dresses in less than a year. (that's not counting the ones I'd bought before I started making them.) I need to ground myself from going in those crazy fabric stores. But maybe if I have a good coupon just a little peek to see what they have... :rolleyes: :D

I have been sewing soooo much!!
Somi has lots of new outfits! I have just haven't put pictures on my computer to post them.
I also made a little "bad hair" day care package for my Mom's two Maltese that got horrible bald hair cuts. They got a couple of new dresses. And two hats each. And little headbands with a think to clip their bows too so they can still have bows. The sticking groomer even shaved their top knots. And the older ones was pretty super long! My mom was crying when she told me. :( but now they are going to have plenty of pretty things to help them forget!!

I'm getting much faster at making things now!
I also made a super awesome new carrier! I really need to post some pictures!

I've altered 4 baby dresses for Mina to wear. Now I need to make hairbows to match. Next is more people clothes that I have to make for clients. Puppy clothes are more fun.

I have not touched my machine or even been here to see what is new and how everyone is because we have had a scare with my Daddy. I had to set up home health care for him and I have been there a lot but I think things are starting to calm down now. I am taking my machine to my Moms house Sat so she can hem some of her pants and teach me some things I do not know. I did manage to go to a yard sale where I found a whole box of patterns (about 200 ) and a whole table full of fabrics and the lady gave it all to me for 50 bucks. I was thrilled. So Mom and I are gonna try and make something out of one of those patterns.

So sorry to hear that your dad isnt doing well.
New patterns and fabric for not much money,how exciting that is!!

Ive spent the weekend in our 5thwheel trailer making cushion carriers for several things so they dont get damaged while being transported. I have a Singer 301 that I use in the trailer,it was made in 1950,great little machine.

sorry to hear about your dad and i hope things continue to improve! what a deal on the patterns and fabrics!! woo hoo have fun making and learning with your mom!!

sewing for the next 2 weeks for Lilo's late birthday party... i think ive hit the point of over sewing LOL my machine must hate it when i walk into the room. we've been having a lot of long sessions lately and i thhink we both ned a break. Lilo's getting jealous!
