Fabric Glue Sticks? Hey guys! Question for ya... Have any of you ever tried the fabric glue sticks that go in a hot glue gun? I bought a separate glue gun and these fabric sticks the other day at Hobby Lobby using my 40% off coupon. Fabric Glue Sticks Anyone have any reviews on this type of product? I thought I would give it a try for placing buttons that do not have the holes onto my ribbon bows. I sew them from time to time but sometimes I use them that only have that little thingie on the back and not the actual holes all the way through. I hope that makes sense. LOL AND....fyi in case you did not know....you can get on Hobby Lobby's website and sign up for their weekly sales flyer and coupon to be sent to your email every week. I have an iPhone and am able to pull up the coupon on my phone when I am at checkout and the cashier can simply look at the 'coupon code' on the email and enter it for me. So that way I don't have to keep up with a paper coupon and it saves printing ink/copy paper. I am sure some already knew this, but thought I would share just in case. They usually do a 40% off coupon every week. ;) Here is the link to the site. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a 'sign up and save' box you can fill out. Sign Up and Save |
I can't believe you can wash the fabric glue, I'm anxious to try that out. Thanks for the the coupon link, I think Hobby Lobby has so many unique items. |
Never tried it but will definitely keep it in mind! I love all the discounts at Hobby Lobby. Sometimes I might get lucky and get a 50% discount on an item at JoAnn. There should be a support group for those of us who go crazy at crafts & arts store. |
I use a high heat glue gun when I put hair bows together. I usually make the bow and then glue them to the clip. I usually sew everything together before attaching the clip. I havent glued a small piece in the center of the bow,Ive always been afraid that the center piece would come off and become a choking hazard. |
Hobby Lobby Tip: I just keep a seperate browser page open on my phone for the Hobby Lobby coupon (don't have to sign up for any email). To do this on an Iphone, when you open safari browser at the bottom you will see what looks like 2 squares over each other, may or may not have a number in them. Press that, at next bottom press new page button. Then enter mobile.hobbylobby.com/coupon.cfm Best part is each every time you open the page up it automatically renews itself giving you the most recent coupon code. |
