We got a new puppy....well....sort of 3 Attachment(s) Tee hee! We got a new puppy! His name is Sir Licorice. He is a stuffed doggy I bought to model doggy clothes. He is a size XS, so bigger outfits may look a little long on him. We may have to get him a couple of brothers and sisters in sizes XXS, S, and M. My hubby named him after his black colored vinyl body. LOL! Katie Scarlett barked at him when he first arrived, but now she just ignores him. I think she would drag him around the house by his tail...if I'd let her! I made a few things this week I snapped pix of and thought I would share. First, a XXS harness made for a boy. (It's a little snug on my XS model, but I can't wait to see it on the real XXS cutie pie I made it for!) |
4 Attachment(s) Second, a Paris dress for one cutie patootie! :) |
4 Attachment(s) And another Paris dress to coordinate. It is a little long on my XS model, but the length should fit the real pup just right. :) |
2 more beautiful dress's . Aime you sure have sewing talant. Happy Sewing.:p |
You have really done a great job! The middle one is my favorite. ;) You sure have come a long way since you started sewing. |
They all look great. My favorite is the middle one. You have a really good imagination. I love the stuff that you put together. |
Aymee - I love Sir Licorice - he is too cute! The harness and dresses are wonderful! |
a couple of suggestions Aymee - you do beautiful work! Wow! I'm so impressed as I know you haven't been doing this for very long. I have a couple of thoughts for you - take them or leave them :-) (1) If you don't already do this, you might think about putting a buttonhole opening on your dresses so a lightweight harness (you know, a soft, strappy one) could fit under the dress with the leash coming out of the button hole. (2) Harnesses with velcro under the chin and tummy make me nervous (probably unnecessarily!) but I want the opening on the topside. I recently found a ipuppyone mesh step-in harness that velcros on the back of Gracie's neck and on her back - with a d-ring on both flaps so when the leash is attached, it keeps both sides secure. I'm sure yours are perfectly safe - I'm just a nervous mommy. Anyway - whether or not you take my suggestions, you do amazing work - keep it up. |
Absolutely Love The. Oh harness and Especially the muddle dress... Sooooooo cute! LILO and I love it. Your designs are amazing.. :) |
Great job!! Love the harnesses. I make them also. The only difference is I make the D ring closer to the neck area. What ever works! One of the earlier posters said the velcro on the bottem and neck make her nervous. I make my harnesses with the velcro on those places and have not had any problems. We walk Copper everyday and use this style harness. I do make sure the wrap around velcro has at least 2 inches of "stick" just to make sure. Good luck with your sewing.:) |
Wow Aymee once again you have created some beautiful garments :) You must sew MANY MANY hours each week LOL |
LOL..you're little model is just darling;) Beautiful dresses, great job Amyee:thumbup: The fabrics together is very pretty! |
