Ever wake up at 4 am with the urge to sew? Lol! Well I am wide awake early today. I want to fire up the machine but I know I would wake up the hubby and Katie Scarlett. Plus, my scrapbooking desk calls. I've got a project to put the last details on. Scrapbooking is a little more quiet of a hobby, so I shall wait until later to sew. Anyways, just wanted to say 'morning' to you guys. I hope you have a great day! Anyone working on something crafty? ;) I haven't sewn in a couple days and I am ready to go. Lol |
I am up early to, once i wakeup i can't stay in bed...i do this quite often :) I use to sew everything else, but never made clothes, there seem to be so many talented people here, i know that i am impressed with all that you make..i loved the matching bag & dress that you made for Carmen |
well... I have been up eairly and could not do what Iwanted because it would wake the hubby. Hmmm.... he is a night person and sure doesn't worry about making nosie then so maybe i should just do what I want to do?? Any way... off to work... have fun!! |
I have had that happen before. I have sewn in the middle of the night before, but it is hard on the eyes if you don't have really good lighting. I haven't done in sewing in a couple of weeks. I have been busy with other projects. Most recently, my hubby and I have been working on our yard and flower beds. |
Aymee sounds like you have a zillion projects swirling around in your head, I wake up early also but have to be quite since the hubby is such a light sleeper, it's a pain in the azz having to tip toe around until he gets up, thankfully is is usually up by 6 am. LOL I even try to sneak and move his alarm clock a little bit ahead |
Oops, it's the addiction you were warned about, LOL. Yes, I do it too, don't know where it comes from, but I wake up with this or that idea for a dress in my head, most days.....the ones I don't have time to do, I will draw a quick sketch or write it down in a picture album I keep just for sewing. It has ideas, pictures of pretty dresses I saw in catalogs or on the internet. Without my book I would go crazy! I also gather up the material I want to use for a dress with bow color etc, and put them in a gallon size baggie to remind me of the colors I want to use. Try it! It keeps me quiet so the hubs (and Yorkies) can sleep! |
