I reckon' I'm gonna sit and sew tomorrow. I've got lots of dresses cut out and want to build up a little inventory for my Etsy shop and to donate to doggy charities. I'm so excited!

Anyone else have plans to sew Tuesday? Y'all sew with me now. ;)

I want to but planning to and getting to sometimes don't happen. Fingers crossed that I can sneak in some sewing time!

... no plans to sew, I wish I knew how, LOL. But I hope you post your creations so I can live my sewing life through you!!!!! :D :D

i am working..............stinks cause i would rather be home with my babies sewing.

I' home but working in my office...errr:thumbdown I would be a raving fool sewing if I didn't have to work;) The most I can do...is be a weekend sewer:D

I am not touching my machine until I have my classes but I so want to. I can not wait till the 1st. I have bought this cute fabric with American flags on it to make dresses for the girls and vests for the boys for the fourth of July. I also have some cute skull and cross bones for the boys to make vests. I keep looking at the book and reading it and thinking I can do this and then I tell myself, not until you have had a class

I am planning on selling dresses very soon. I wanted to build a little inventory up first and then post many together on there. I am hoping to do that within the next week or so. Nothing too fancy just to start out. Basic dresses but hoping to expand into lots of designs this summer. I'm really only wanting to do this for fun. I'm not going go charge much at all for my outfits because I really just want to feed my addiction to go out and buy more fabric without asking my hubby. Lol. Also, I want to try to build up a little account for donating. I would love to rescue a yorkie but my husband says not just yet. So I figure I can at least donate $ to help a cause that is growing very near to my heart. We have a few yorkie rescues close, but I would like to help yt'ers who rescue too. I need to find out who they are and make a contact list so I can give to them...not only money but clothes too. When I get going I will start a thread and ask about that. But if anyone knows of any now, let me know.

I am not sure who all rescues but I know I have and Rubymoon does and there are a few more. I know there are alot of rescues who can use the help. YHR, YTNR and so many more. I think this is a wonderful thing you are doing and if I ever learn to use my machine I would like to help by donating some things to you to.

Amyee, I love your idea of using some of your money to donate to charities, Ladyjane on here runs Yorkie Haven and they sell some clothing she would probably love to have some of your stuff. Also do you sell custom yorkie cards similar to the ones on your link but with photos of your customers dogs. It would really be cool if you had a selection of style that are designed in a way that your customer just send you a photo and you would insert it into the card, you might already do this, but I know that custom stuff with your own dogs and children photos are popular, you could do some that were more basic and sell those as a packed set or more elaborate individual ones. LOL if you want a volunteer marketing mentor let me know, I am good ideas just not implementing them.

What a great idea! Thank you so much for sharing that with me! I will have to try that out. Of course, I'll give you credit for the idea. It may be a while. I've got a to do list a mile long!

And thanks everyone for sharing the people who do work with rescues. I am going to make me a list today and keep that handy. Charity work is very important to me and I want to get on that as soon as I can. I have donated some things of Katie Scarlett before, but all were used. I'd love to make new things for all these precious little ones. There are just not enough hours in the day, but I am on it and hope to be donating more soon!
