It's All Donna's Fault! LOL 3 Attachment(s) Hey guys! So I go to the fabric store today. I was on the hunt for some pink zebra print for something I'm making for Donna. Well...let's just say I got sidetracked. Tee hee! I got the materials to make my first dog carrier purse thingy. I am going to try to do the one on the OOP Simplicity pattern I used yesterday for the collared dress. I hope it will go ok. I'm mixing a lime green zebra print with some pink. Then when I went to get zebra print, I ran across some green bone fabric that I thought would make cute boy stuff. So I had to get a coordinating fabric to go with it. Donna! It's all your fault! Tee hee!!! P.S. Donna...look at the zebra print fabric in the photo below (the pink one). It is a teeny bit different from the pink zebra I used on KS's dress. They were out of that particular one at Hancock Fabrics today. But this is just as cute I think. The zebra print is a bit bigger, but the pinks are almost the same. ;) Not the best pix, but I think you can see. |
I do like the bone print :p Sewing for girls are so much I'm sure, especially for KS but can't wait to see what you make for the boys! :D |
I like that print just fine Amyee and I sent the check out tonight so hopefully you will have it by Friday, I am so excited to see what they look like in their new clothes. Thanks again so much. |

Love the fabrics you chose. You have a great eye Aymee. Darla and I are looking forward to the masterpieces you make with these. =) |
Beautiful fabrics! I know just how you feel. I still have fabric from one of my last forays to the Joann's. |
I'm telling you guys...I already want to go back! Tee hee! It's a good things I am not rich because I would go broke buying fabrics. There are just too many beautiful fabrics! Tee hee! |
Aymee you really have inspired me to give it a try. I used to sew a few thing here and there, but now I only sew when I have to fix a ripped piece of clothing. But your beautiful creations have now inspired to take it up again. So tomorrow I will be going to my local craft store and seeing if I can find someone who can teach me about reading patterns. Never used one of those thingys before. :p |
