If money wasn't an object... 1 Attachment(s) What would you buy for your little one? I'd buy this Yorkie Carrier. Attachment 357405 I really like this but not for $750.! Kiki Hamann Canine Couture |
2 Attachment(s) Look how precious that bag is! If money was no object then I would buy Pita her own puppy cabana & luxury bed for $1999 & $1499 respectively.:D |
If money were no object, then I'd rent a private plane and fly around the world with my pups. I'd surf with them in Hawaii, climb Mt Kilamanjaro, see the fijords of Norway and photograph the Northern Lights, go to Puskar and do the elephant safari, I'd spend a month in Crete in a villa by the sea; we'd visit Alaska in the summertime. We'd hike through the Red Rocks of Sedona, we'd go whale watching off the B.C. coast. We'd camp and do the Cape Breton Trial. We'd try to visit many of the Historic and Geographic sites of the world. But mostly we'd be together all the time, in all the ways we can. I'd wouldn't have to leave for work. Or spend time doing laundry and household stuff. My dream if I had a lot of money, is to buy a large plot of land in our country. Set up a training and healing facility for dogs. I'd have underwater treadmill, wave pool, laser treatments, obedience and agility rings, Have groomers, and vets, and pt's who really knew what they were doing. There is nothing made to match, the joy of a dog that was once hurt, moving freely and painfree again. There is nothing made or can be bought; that can match the happiness of a good human/dog working team. Awh dreams! |
If money were no object, I'd have 10 more Yorkies. |
If money were no object. Someone else would be cleaning the house, cooking the meals and my baby and I would spend time in an RV checking out all of the National Parks,,we would take Mr Man (DH) of course. |
If money was no object, I'd buy Mojo and Penny a nice BB with matching leash each, maybe 2 or 3 hehehe! A special spa grooming day so they could be pampered and prettied up a bit, they would each have super nice indoor beds with their names monogrammed on them and matching dishes that sit in the nice wrought iron stands, again monogrammed with their names. I'd also buy them a fence to fence in our yard for them and put in a nice doggie door in so they could come in and out at their leisure. All kinds of doggie treats and toys, and a couple of those doggie stairs so that there would be one at every place they love to lay, the sofa, the recliner, the bed. You name it! All kinds of little doggie things that they would love! ;) |
Oh my! What cute stuff! I'd definitely have Katie Scarlett one of those canopy beds made in fabric that matches the bedding in our master bedroom! My husband would go nuts though! |
I would buy Bella and Tibbs there own mini house to live in outside when it was warm ! Something like this lol.! $20,000 Dog House |
Michelle, I LOVE the carrier. If money was no object I'd.... hummmm I'd..... gee I don't know what I'd want or do. Life is pretty good -- I have my incredible yorkie family, I have a wonderful husband, a nice home, a car that I love (and thats almost paid for), I have my miniature horses and I have an this wonderful world of YorkieTalk. Because of my incredible medical team, I am getting well and have the hope of being able to run and play with my doggies and horses once again. I guess the one thing I'd like to buy would be a nice small truck and miniature horse trailer so that I could share the minis with those less fortunate than me. All in all, life is good and I don't have a lot of wants that money can buy. But if money was no object -- I'd buy the carrier for you, and a whole bunch of that really fancy yarn we were looking at earlier :D. |
If money were no object, Jackson would probably have a ton of stuff personalized, LOL. He's got a personalized toy box that I love. I think it'd be so adorable to have his feeder with his name on it, a blanket, his beds, etc. Like he's the King of the roost. I guess these things would be do-able in real life but it's not usually something I want to spend my money on. Clothes and the like. He doesn't wear a lot so I don't really buy a whole lot, or I'll find him cheap cute things (Target and Walmart are the best!) But if I had a ton of money, he'd have a lot more outfits to choose from. Oh and collars! He's already got a lot but he'd probably 3928272 more if I have an endless supply of money, LOL. I'd build him his own pool -- indoor, so he could swim in the winter too, LOL. He loves the water and we miss it a lot from October-May. We'd do dock diving year round! I'd also build a full out agility ring with all the awesome equipment. And hire a trainer to come to my house! He would get groomed every 4 weeks just to get all nice and spiffy looking. Get a little refresh! hehe. Now I push it 10-12 weeks, mainly due to cost. Oh, he would certainly have a brother (or two!) |
If money wasnt an object me My family and My yorkies would move to Florida and enjoy life on the beach |
If money weren't an object...... My Bella would have her own bedroom. Complete with full closet and a bed fit for a queen! |
If money were no object....I'd regularly charter jets through Hangar8 so ZoE and I could fly home to England, in-cabin together. |
If money was no problem, I would build a huge screen room over most of the back yard, so they could run and play safely. UM.... I would hire a live in Yorkie Nanny to help me, so they could have long walks (I am still unable to walk them ). Tapping chin and thinking here... maybe hire a dress maker to sew for them. OH I KNOW !! Have a Grooming room and Nursery room built onto my house. And Open a TOY DOG daycare and school for working parents...I guess by that time I would looking for more Yorkie charities........ |

If money were no object, I would spend all my time and all that money shutting down puppy mills, somehow. Then I'd probably get many more Yorkies and a bigger house to keep them all comfortable:laugh: Ahhhh a girl can dream, right? |

You're too sweet Cindy, but your suppose to pick something for your babies. Silly! BTW, I bought 16 different fancy yarns. |
That is the absolutely cutest carrier I have ever seen! I will probably not be satisfied with another now that I have seen that one. I thought I had a few that I liked too but now... they pale in comparison. BIG SIGH! I wonder if I could get a quilter to come up with something similar -- enough different so as not to be a copy and infringe on her art but like enough to be opulent, elegant and adorable as this one is! I might even work on crocheting one something like this -- still that would not be the same. As far as money being no object..... I still would probably not pay $750 for a dog carrier -- instead, I would use the money to either partially pay for another yorkie or donate to a rescue! I would love to get another now but I am afraid I cannot handle more than 3 dogs at a time and still be able to spoil them as I believe they deserve. EDIT: I don';t know.... if money were really no object, I might just buy that carrier -- LOL! The more I look at it, the more I want it! I knew I shouldn't come in here this close to Christmas! I would not buy the other high priced items either. I just would not feel right paying that much for things that I know the dogs would be just as happy with a $20 dog bed. I paid $55 for 2 of their beds and that is as high as I'll go. After that, and I would think -- "If you have that much money to throw away, then you should be donating to dogs in need." That's just me and probably because of the way I've grown up. Others who have always been rich, may think nothing of paying $750 for a dog carrier -- I mean they pay $2000 for a Louis Vuitton handbag without blinking so I guess this would not even seem unreasonable. All in your own history and how you feel about money, I guess. I don't necessarily think it is wrong for anyone who can afford to pay for those big ticket items to buy them, it is up to each person as to how they spend their own money. I would just not feel right. I think I am destined to be middle-class forever in my thinking. :) I have to also think about all the people who think I am crazy for how much I have spent on buying my yorkies in the first place. I've had people shake their heads and look at me as if I had lost my mind. So once again, all in how you look at things. :) To me, the price of the yorkies themselves is not that much. Think of the years of love and enjoyment, and companionship they give us in return! But many do not understand that. |

Well if money were no object I would buy my dogs a nice little condo in Nevada (and then of course I would have to move out there to supervise them) |

*bump* What a great fun thread this was! I don't have any desire to dress my pups in high fashion doggie couture things but I've always gotten a certain giggle out of the funny sayings found on some tee shirts. Here's one of my favs: This is What a Bitch Looks Like Dog Tee Shirts : Funny Evil Dog T-Shirts  |
I'd buy Tibbe a full-time trainer and dog-walker and take a break this summer! |
