Pippin is the proud mother of two little girls! :woof:

She ended up having a C section, but all went well. They weighed 3 oz and 4 oz.

Here is a picture of the pups. I think I will go to bed now....:dogzzz:

Congrats to you and momma! I bet you had a long day/night with that. Glad the C-section went well...must have been scary. The baby girls are cute too! Congrats again :)

WOW Nancy , what a hard night you put in. It is not easy to know when to call the vet but you did great. Two girls!!! I hope you get them home today , I have never left mine at the vets before. The joys of breeding......You will have to let us know what the vet charged you to get out of bed and I guess you owe him a nice bottle of wine or something. Big Congratulations to you , the mommy and to the new puppies. May they thrive.

Thank you all for the congratulations! Mom and babies are home now and seem to be doing well. Mom is still getting used to the idea of the pups, but she is cooperative with them nursing and has occasionally licked them, so hopefully those mommy juices will kick in soon.

I did get some sleep (about 3 to 3 1/2 hours. I just got into bed as my husband was getting out of it LOL! (He has a nearly 2 hour commute every day so he leaves major early).

No, it wasn't a planned C section. She ended up not being able to pass the puppies.

As far as the vet charges, how does Just over $700 sound? You think he still needs a bottle of wine or something? He did say he was going to stay up and watch them all night (of course there was an extra charge for this, too), but he must have gotten some sleep cause he looked pretty chipper this morning.

Please keep mom and pups in your prayers that they will all do well and thrive.

Here are some pictures of the puppies. I had to take them with different backgrounds so I that I could tell them apart so the 2nd one is in front of my desk chair. When I was taking the pictures of her (the biggest one) she was very squirmy. I was just noticing how big her tummy was when she peed all over my hand and my office chair!! I guess that is why she was so squirmy. lol But at least now I know she is getting something from her nursing attempts!

The last picture is right after I got them all home from the vet this morning.

700.00 is a bit high but not for the middle of the night, and if you have a vet that will do it in the middle of the night you are very lucky. I always send my vet something to drink after I keep him up all night.....Or if you prefer a gift cert for a nice place to eat. He will not grumble so bad the next time you call late at night.

I am so glad they seem to be doing okay, watch their weight and make sure they gain every day.

This is a little miracle litter for sure.....

Thanks, Tami. My daughter about had a fit when I decided to name her that. She says that is a boy's name, but I think it fits her. I got her when she was about 9 mos so she was already registered with the name Pepper, which I didn't really care for, so I wanted something close for her call name. That's her in my avatar.

oh my gosh they are so tiny. I wish i had the time and money to have 10 more yorkie babies...I would love to be a full time stay at home mommy to yorkies...:)
