My girl and I are new. Im a new soon-to-be Yorkie owner. My lil girl comes home on the 24th! Im sooooooo excited! :yay_jump: Ive waited 5 longggg years to finally get a:aimeeyork Yorkie, and thats HARRRD when youre a Groomer and you have to see so many every day, and then leave home without them. I knew when the right one came along, Id know...well she came, she licked my nose:heart to and gave me lil eyes and I :wub:cried and I begged:hug: the breeder not to consider anyone else because she was MEANT to be MINE =))


I am still trying to think of a name for her, for right now she is,"Hope" until I know what fits her best! I really like creative artsy names. =) I dont want her to have a common name other Yorkies have. Im into Yoga and art and somewhere between Buddhist/Hindu and Taoist. If you guys think of any cute names, please let me know!

Ive been thinking of Shiva, Lotus, Dharma...any other ideas?
She also is unusual in that she will have a good chance of curly hair (like shirley temple?) she is 100% Yorkie and AKC reg., and I know curls arent preferred or correct, but she is precious all the same. Im going to upload a pic of her and of her parents.

I'd like to know WHO locked my thread on the new litter ???? WHO has the gall to do that--threads can continue for a year and mine has only been on for about 7 weeks !!! It's titled Allies litter Prestigeous bloodlone July 20, 2010---I want it unlocked--who can unlock it for me and find out who did this---they should be banned !!! I've done nothing wrong---NOTHING ! Admin or an administrator would be the only ones to "have the gall" to close a thread. See they have this peculiar trait of expecting members to follow the rules on selling puppies.:p

Actually it isn't a cheap shot, and I seriously doubt that anyone is jealous. It is a matter of enforcing the rules. Admin and Moderators here at YT do a pretty good job of "policing" the forums and closing threads and deleting posts when members violate the rules.

If you have questions you might familiarize yourself with the posting rules both the general ones and specific ones for each separate forum. If you still feel like you have been treated unfairly, then contact Admin or Wylie's Mom who is a Moderator.

I have NOT stated any price and I do NOT believe you could say I'm trying to SELL in this forum--I'm stating that my puppies are cute and I'm sure they will all find homes---most are already spoken for any way. But as far as I'm concerned I'm not trying to sell my puppies I'm discussing the litter---and I'll cease speaking of this litter---don't need Yorkietalk to place my furkids !!

Actually, this thread that we are typing in right now is only a Nursery Rule Reminder, NOT the rules. If you read the actual rules and read rule #6 you might better understand. In your http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yt-...20-2010-a.html thread, post #19 a member asks if the pups are for sale and in your reply #20 (the first of many of your replies that were deleted) you stated that the pups were for sale. That is a violation of the Nursery Posting Rules. You CAN respond by sending a pm but not by answering a for sale question in the Nursery.

...as opposed to one thread per pup if you are NOT selling them.

Also, there are TWO stickies with rules for this section, not just one. (I'm not sure why there are two.) The other one strictly forbids discussing the sale of pups in this section. Seems like most thought that's what you were doing. Hard to say since many of your posts have been removed. That's obviously how it was interpreted and I'm sure that the actions taken were in an effort to enforce the rules, not out of malicious intent or because Admin was jealous.
Maybe that was not your intent, but it has been the intent of many breeders in the past trying to sneak in a little advertising for their pups before they hit 10 weeks. For that reason, Admin is ultra aware and cautious in this section. Try not to take it personally. :)

I do take it personally---very much so---can't figure it out--yorkie people will tell ya anything if they are trying to sell ya a dog--big --ugly-anything to sell it. I in no way intended to break any rule--and instead of some one telling me I broke some rule--wooooo- they block my thread---this is unjust and it stinks ! Everyone is lovin it I'm sure---I think most yorkie breeders are nice people but some are rude -crude-and hateful !!! I've been jumped on several times on this site and can't figure why !! I'll keep posting for the FEW that CARE about others and their dogs. And for the RUDE -crude- I don't CARE what they think !!!!!!!!!!
