Oh man! I have to quit coming to this thread!! I really really like her and we've been talking about maybe getting a little girl (pet only). We just want to wait until Gizmo is neutered before we start seriously looking. We also need to save up some money.....but YOU MAKE THIS DIFFICULT!!! lol

yes, someone backed out on this one but I THINK she has a new home and is leaving later today to a local person. Not sure, tho. They are coming to "look". The one with the hernia is leaving Wednesday to a YT member that lives in Ky.

The world is a happier place when Yorkies are born. What cuties! I'm glad that they are finding good homes!

Well, the person coming to "look' didn't show. i have turned six people down this week for various reasons, young kids, work schedule, etc. am i getting too picky? One person turned me down when I asked them to go to my website and fill the application out. hubby is getting so aggravated at me but I can't let my babies go to just anyone. I am VERY particular. Maybe it is working out that i will keep her. :) Maybe that is what is in my mind when I keep turning people down.;) people in my area are just so used to people selling them a yorkie because they have the money and no questions asked. One lady yesterday asked if I still have her and when I said I did, she wanted me to send pictures of parents. I told her not so fast. tell me about yourself. She didn't know what to say but as soon as she told me she had bought and sold a yorkie last weeks because he was scared of her kids, ages two and four, I said sorry. i softened the blow a little tho by telling her my pup would be timid too in that situation. I know because of my own grandkids. Can you imagine a two and four year old chasing a little pup? I can because I have been there. My baby has to have a just right home or it won't leave.

I dont blame you. You need to be paticuliar. Your Baby is counting on you to make sure she has a Very Good Loving Home. I hate to say it but most ppl with kids these days let their children become Brats and the sad thing is ... It truly is not the childrens fault. Its the Parents. I have 3 girls and no way was I going to let them become brats.

You put a lot of heart into these Puppies. I never realized how much time, heart and work. And my Peaches only had ONE puppy. I put so much heart into it I am keeping her. Stick to your standards. Maybe you are suppose to keep her ;)

all my babies are gone now and it is just too quiet with no puppies running around nibbling on my toes. gracie went to her new home in South Carolina today. A wonderful retired couple drove all the way up here to kentucky to get her. i think i was sadder than her mama was to see her go.

I truly can feel your sorrow when the last puppy leaves. :( I have to tell all future families to be prepared, because I cannot control the tears when they leave. Also, when it's time to put away the whelping box and and all the other assorted items for puppies too.

I am so glad to hear that you waited for the just the perfect family to adopt Gracie. There have been times when I begin to believe that we are not going to find a family that is worthy of our puppy and just when we get excited about the possibility of it remaining with us ... the phone rings and one of our families that had adopted in the past knows someone who just has to have this precious little puppy. It's wonderful how it works that way.....:)
