Wow time sure flies. My babies are 8 weeks old already and I'll be taking deposits starting tomorrow. This is the part that makes me nervous. It's so important to find each one the perfect home for them. I've really enjoyed this litter, they all have such outgoing personalities. They've been loads of fun!

What a beautiful bunch of babies!!! I bet that they have been a lot of fun. It must be hard to let them go. Good luck finding perfect homes for these little dolls.

What an adorable bunch!! I would have to become a hoarder if I was a breeder...I just couldn't do it...it must be really hard for you...

they are all so beautiful. i didn't even know you had a litter. i tried to count them but i couldn't.
they will go quickly.

There are 7 of the little boogers. I've got one I'm going to hold onto for a while, she may be show potential. I'll keep an eye on her and enter her in a couple of matches. She's definitely got the attitude, a tight straight topline, high tailset good earset, and scissor bite. They're all so smart, they go potty in the designated potty area already. Mom appreciates that!!!

tami, they are beautiful. i was trying to count them, too. that is a huge litter for sure and just gorgeous.

They are so cute and sweet. Do U cry when they go to their forever homes? I bawl like a baby, I can't help it, I get so attached to the little things. They just steal U're heart. I'm so excited about our upcoming litter I can't wait. I know what U mean about finding them a good forever home. It's so hard to know who to trust and who not to. Can I ask how U know U've got a puppy who might turn out to be a show dog? I was just wondering what U look for. I know Sir. Galahad has that prance I see when I watch the dog shows, really that is his walk, he prances everywhere and all the time, I always say he'd be a good in a show ring with the way he strides and prances. Once again they are so precious and beautful! How long have U been breeding Yorkies? I love the color of their coats!!! Hugs, Lee

When evaluating for potential show I take a good look at them at 8 weeks old. I watch them on the move as well as stacked on the table. I consider attitude and temperment, topline, tailset, earset, bite, reach and drive, and coat texture. I start working on getting them used to the table, having their bite looked at, paying attention to me when asked to, and of course the lead. So much can happen between puppyhood and adulthood, it's really hard to judge but one of my mentor's told me to take a good look at 8 weeks and don't look back until 6 monthes. Danali looks really good at present, we'll just see what the future holds.

Just curious, when you evaluate, does the sex of the puppy have anything to do with it? Someone told me that males are easier to show. Someone else disagreed. Just wondering what you think. And I just have to say 7 babies! Wow! You must really have your hands full. :)
