Does her hair grow very slowly and have a little courser feel? Does it break off easily? Is her skin more of a gold color and her eye shine gold as well? You may have a redleg, it looks like it in the pics (love the family portrait by the way). Redlegs really come in handy but you can't make one your foundation bitch, at least that's what my breeder told me. I have a gal out of Roxie from the last litter and am holding on with (hopefully) show potential from this litter. If I keep it up all my brood bitches will be out of Roxie and she'll end up my foundation bitch by default. At least Teddi is out of Lamplighters.

Most True....Yes, Yes & Yes about the hair!
But in pictures her eyes shine either bright green or Blue.

Actually Remi is a gal, she just went into heat. Hopefully Connor will behave for the show this weekend. He doesn't sleep well when one of the gals are in heat.

I try to show once or twice a month as I work every other weekend. It's not cheap but than neither would be playing golf. I do love it! I have a handling mentor that goes to most of the shows with me. She's great and the longer you do it the more people you will get to know. The more people you know the more fun it is. It's so fun talking Yorkie with other dog fanciers and showing off your dog. There will be 20 yorkies there on Sat. and 23 on Sun. It's nice to see all the dogs in their beautiful flowing coats. There are some big names that show around here like Caraneal and Thimbletip so you have people you can really learn from as well. You should go to a show and check it out. I'd recommend it to anyone!

I have 7, 5 gals and 2 boys. Believe me they are a handful but so much fun. They'll be ready to go tot their forever homes before I know it.

On Roxie I use Durestede shampoo, coat handler conditioner, no finishing spray as it makes her feel gummy. I use Equyss for the rest except I just tried Pantene for Connor because I had a judge and a handler tell me to. It didn't do to bad, I still conditioned with Coat Handler though.

I have a futon in the dog room and that 's where I sleep when whelping time gets near or someone isn't well. Roxie won't even push if I 'm not there for her to lean against. I guess that's only fair. I used to sit in the floor but last time I borrowed my daughter's bean bag. It worked quite well for my old back! It's very hard to obtain quality breeding stock, there's someone around every corner waiting to cheat you. The show breeders are cautious and most want their gals shown before they are bred. I can't say that I blame them but it is difficult to get started. Do you have a show breeder near you? Have you checked out the shows and talked to exhibitors? That may be a good place to look for your brood bitch.

K I'm there now and I'm wondering if U think these are good breeders? I'm mean seem they have a few diffrent breeds. Can U find some that would cheat U even if they are here? None of them are even close to me!! These are the Yorkie Breeders here in Indiana. What do U think?

About the Breeder:
I have been breeding for 13 yrs. and have enjoyed every day with my yorkies,they are our babies. We have been showing for 7 yrs we show UKC and some AKC. We have Judabob bloodlines in all or most of our yorkie. I have new females that I will be breeding soon. We love our babies and love showing them and just having them.
