I guess I am waaaay overdue to post his pictures! Here is little Beau...he was three weeks on Friday.

I will try to get better pics of him this week!

OMG!!! He's adorable! Look at that mask on him. He is just gorgeous! He and "Light" and would look lovely together.

OMIGOSH are you TRYING to tempt me??!!! LOL

He just looks like he's going to have so much personality. Better get ready.

Oh yea! He is already climbing out of the basket and chewing and romping around and growling, barking! He is a real charmer! LOL Today we weighed him and he weighs one whole pound! lol

LOL I know, we'll end up sharing these pictures on YT for years from our own homes because we couldn't bare to part with the dogs.

Just send him over on here, he and Light were obviously meant to be lol

He is three weeks and four days. He was born at 11 am in the morning on August 25!

That's pretty norm I think. They pack it on fast but they'll slow down. You'rs is a singleton so it's buffet time at mealtime for him. 11 a.m. lucky you (if you weren't up all night, you probably were if I remember correctly) Lacy had hers at midnight til 3:00 a.m. Did she give birth to another that she lost?

We had a total of four....two still borns and one that I handfed for four days...Him I would have kept! I was pretty much up all night....her labor had started the night before and her water had broke at 7 pm and I fully expected pups within an hour or two...by 10 pm I was calling my vet and he let her go until the next morning. The next morning the first pup was born around 7:30 which was Scooter who I handfed and then pup number 2 came 20 minutes later and was stillborn and pup three came at 9 still born and I was freaking out by that point and had my vet on the phone! Then Beau arrived at 11 am and it had been two hours since the last one and I was paranoid and so we made an emergency trip to the vet TWICE that day...first time was to get her oxytocin shots and a penicillian shot second time was for an x-ray that showed no more puppies. I was a total basket case and made the decision to spay Autumn....the worst thing is I was PREPARED for a delivery and even had my vet on call incase there was an emergency.

The two still born pups had died two days prior to the birth. There was nothing we could have done. Their placentas has separated early. Then Scooter was born with a cleft pallet. I was trying to get tube feeding supplies when we lost him. He is now laid to rest under my lilac bush and he will be with me forever.

Oh no I am not offended! I don't mind! I like it when people ask me questions! LOL I am pretty much an open book..I said pretty much!! and I would honestly reply I would rather not talk about it if it bothered me! =) I felt like this litter was a tremendous learning experience for me, and while it was heartbreaking, I have walked away from it more knowlegeable than I was before! and I know now that Cleft Pallets CAN survive, even if mine didn't!

Wow, what a story. Bless your heart. Makes me scared to death thinking about it, wondering how panicky I would have been (very). Sounds like you did a great job and were very prepared. There's nothing that can be done in those instances for the two and your right cleft babies chances are getting much better, but often end in fatalities.

Kudos to you for being such a caring mom and look at that baby boy Beau!
Thanks for sharing what happened, though you didn't have to go into detail for me. I was really hoping that my memory was serving me incorrectly.

Sounds to me your both great moms and you both have beautiful babies...and if you all get tired of them send them my way...:D

Nope actually, right now I have no life LOLOL outside of my kids fur and skin. I did get some great pics of him today....so I just need to load them and do my whole tower switch thing....Long story short...Autumn chewed USB cord for camera...current tower has no slot for SD card...so until NEW USB Cord arrives, I have to do a tower switch...load pictures into other tower..copy to thumbdrive...reconnect this tower...load pictures..post pictures...takes about 30 minutes or so..LOL

I took these today!! My they turned out better than I thought they would! My hubby and I had so much fun getting these shots today!

Aweee, where have I been? (actually sick as a dog) How precious! He is just a doll. And what a sweet husband of yours. I enjoyed seeing those so much. Mine have a few a white paws too, I love that. Thanks for posting those. I look forward to watching them grow.

Light's ears are starting to stand since I shaved them so I've gonna have to get a pic soon, she's starting to look like a little gremlin lol.

There are more pictures of him posting in the Yorkies for Sale section :) I wish you guys could actually see him! He is walking and barking and definitely making his wishes known! He hates to be in the basket and wants OUT all the time! He is so little though so I am worried we won't see him running around so I give him alloted out of the basket play time and then back in. Now though he is trying to climb OUT of the basket...sigh...won't be keeping him in long!
