The OP had many many controversial threads regarding her pups...she had blue born in the past, selling pups w/full breeding rights for the right price, lists of complaints on rip off report.(:thumbdown http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...available.html |

Puppyfind breeder review from March 2012: I’ve had 2 dogs from Sharon. My first puppy had to be put down after only having him 3 days. He was lethargic, throwing up, diarrhea. I spent $1,800 on tests trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Vet thought it may be Addisons Disease or a liver shut. My replacement puppy drinks a lot of water from the day I got him from Sharon. I asked my vet at his 4 mth check, and he ran blood work and urinalysis. The tests confirmed he is in renal failure of an unknown origin. I could pay for more tests and ultrasounds to find out exactly why, but nothing will cure this puppy. If I hadn’t asked the vet I still wouldn’t know he is sick. He is growing, eating and playing, he seems healthy. I wasn’t aware of the underlying health issues when I picked either puppy up from Sharon. I could run more tests to prove it’s genetic and receive a new puppy, but I wouldn’t trust the next puppy will be healthy. This has devastated my family. I would like to save another family from heartbreak. In all fairness, the remaining 4 or 5 reviews from prior years were all positive. Anybody can write a review though & I'm always skeptical of the reviews that are so good that they seem to glow in the dark. I have no personal knowledge of this breeder, good or bad, I'm just copying what's already published on Puppyfind. |
It is so hard to find a good breeder. My husband and I bought a puppy (not from the above breeder) but clearly from a BYB or maybe a puppy mill. It was awful and he died after 1 month. That is why this time we are taking our time and looking for an honest fab. breeder. |
Congratulations! Glad to hear all those little fur-balls are doing well!! |
Carole Bigwood in Vancouver, WA was awesome. I think she may have decided to retire since she began focusing on the need for rescue yorkie support but I am so grateful that I got my lilah from her. She was so thorough and thoughtful with great research and respectful practices. At our home visit I got to meet mom and dad and little star and see all the healthy well cared for babies. She had play pens and potty pads, little safe dig havens throughout the house and a doggy door with a safe fenced area, toy boxes full of chewies. She sewed dog clothes (wild child...eBay?) and I even ran into her at a pet expo advocating for homeless dogs up for adoption. Lilah came with a folder that had all of her vet records, extended pedigree and a disk with her baby pictures on it. I got updates every week until I brought her home and she sent her home with a care package and transitional food. I hav a healthy well adjusted dog and I am so grateful to the responsible breeder. |
