Crazy Question:) First of all I would like to say that I really enjoy yorkietalk:). Millie is my first yorkie, and I have learned so much from reading the different posts and threads. Sometimes I still have questions. So here it goes....a crazy question:D....Is the age that a yorkie starts to change colors an indicator of whether or not they are maturing faster??? My Millie seems to have started at about 8 weeks old. She has lots of silvery gold on her head, and her body has a lot of silver in it. She is 15 weeks old now:aimeeyork. Also I must add that until I read posts on YT, I had no idea she was supposed to stay with the breeder until 12 weeks, but she has been doing great! Thanks in advance for the answers to my question:)!! I will post pics as soon as I learn how:) |
Welcome to YT! Would love to see pics of your sweet baby. I believe there is a thread in the “help” section that explains how to post pics.. It sounds like she is going to be tan/ silver- then maybe like Peanut gold/silver Maybe- Peanut as a puppy was black and tan, then the black turned silver and the tan got lighter, now it is blonde, almost platinum ( I always tell him girls pay good money for that blonde, he is lucky LOL). As you can see <------ he is silver and gold. Peanut is 6 and I swear he is still getting lighter.. Not sure what age is the true cut off, it will be interesting to hear. |

I just noticed you have your thread in the Nursery.. you can have it moved to the General Section- you might get more responses there!! |
