First Bath 2 Attachment(s) Before Attachment 377990 After Attachment 377991 Also, she will not eat from her food bowl, or any bowl for that matter. I have to dump the food on the floor for her to eat it. Any suggestions? |

I have one that will not eat out of a bowl. She wants it on a paper towel. Have you tried a saucer type plate? |
i was going to say a small plate......shes so cute all wet!! |
Aww my baby did the same for a few days when I brought her home, but I think it just had to do with her adjusting to a new environment. I got her the smallest bowls i found and they worked perfect to get her to understand the concept of being fed in a bowl. Good luck, like others have suggested maybe something different. |
She is too cute, the small bowl idea sounds great that way she understands she can eat from a bowl |
I haven't tried the plate, I will do that ! Thanks for the ideas. She drinks fine out of the bowl, just wont eat out of it! lol |
Mandie refuses to eat out of a regular dog bowl. I have to either use a saucer or a big wide opened and shallow bowl. |
Cat bowls are very shallow. Also the have dishes too |
I am so in love with this dog! She has definitely stolen my heart. I truly can't understand how anyone could ever be mean or cruel to one of these babies. My brother recently got a mini schnauzer. Over thanksgiving the dog was a little yappy and I could see the beginning of some possessiveness towards my sister in law. If anyone reached for him while she was holding him he would growl. Probably not good behavior but my brother announced that if the dog growls at them (he is about 14 weeks) that they should "knock the crap out of him" because he has to learn not to so that. That really bothered me :( I can't imagine ever allowing anyone to do that to Gracie! He will not be dog sitting...ever! |
I buy 6" paper plates for the same reason - my female refuses to eat out of a bowl. |
I also had the same problem eating out of a bowl. (although he will eat a little soft food from the bowl). I got him a treat ball and I fill it with his kibble. He pushes it around when he wants to eat and eats the bits that fall out from the floor. Makes it kind of a fun thing for him and it sure got him eating better. |
