ears?? :s got a lovely little pup 3 weeks ago he is 16weeks now and his ears dont stand up i dont mind wether they do or not he is spoilt and happy :) but is this normal? new to yorkies :):aimeeyork |
Yes it's normal. The hair on their ears can be really heavy and pull the ears down. If you trim the hair on the back of the ears it should lighten things up enough to let the cartilage strengthen and the ears stand upright. If you WANT them to, that is. =) I haven't clipped the hair on Blazer's ears because I love how they look when they're floppy- he looks like such a puppy! (Of course, he is only 5 months old so he IS still a puppy, but still! LOL!) Every once in a while his ears will stand up, sometimes only halfway up, sometime all the way. He's very expressive with his ears, even though they are floppy. =) |
Yes it is normal. They will go up and down. Clipping the hair will help. Also they can be taped. Contact your breeder and she can help you with that |
Cheers :) Thanks for the info! Think il leave them floppy he suits em :) |
His ears still could go up, but floppy is adorable too! |
