My Penelope's baby. 1 Attachment(s) Penelope had two baby boys on Valentines day. The first boy was still born, but the next little guy seems to be fine. We named him Valentine. He weighed 3.2oz when he was born and now he is up to a whopping 4oz! |
Awww what a sweetie. Very cute and glad to hear that Valentine is doing well. |
Congrats on the new baby! Hope Mamma and baby are doing well. |
1 Attachment(s) Baby is doing much better. He is up to 4.8oz now! He was a week yesterday. Here is a cute pic my hubby took with his cellphone tonight. I was checking on him and he seemed so comfy in my hands... It's hard to see how tiny he is, my hands are very small! |
Very sweet, congrats. Sorry about the little one who didn't make it. |
Congratulations - Valentine is so precious! |
Thanks all. My granddaughter was over when the pups were born (not planned) and witnessed the puppy being born dead. She said a prayer to Jesus, but was curious when she was over yesterday and asked where the Jesus puppy was. I showed her were Papa buried him in the backyard. She asked if we could see him, I had to tell her he was still with baby Jesus and she would see him in heaven when she gets there. She is such a smart 5 y/o! We were sad when the pup was born dead, but Valentine is more than making up for it. I'm considering giving Valentine to my sister, then he would stay in the family and we can watch him grow up. |
That would be great for your grandaughter to get to see Vanlentine grow up. What a wonderful idea. |
Congratulations on Valentine! Good to see he is doing well. Sound wonderful that he can stay in the family. |

Congratulations. |
I wonder.... How much should he be gaining? He is 5.8oz tonight. But, yesterday he dropped a few .oz's. Sometimes I worry about him. I've never experienced anything so small! He is 12 days tomorrow, should he be bigger? From the weight chart I found on here he will mature at 2 to 2 1/2lb?! Anyone have a dog this small? |
