Is ordering replacement papers through the AKC not a possibility?

Yes, that's what I'm hoping for, but do not want to sell them and tell people that I will get the papers when I may not. I would rather give them a pleasant surprise later. The only people who probably care are breeders.

This is just a good opportunity for someone who wants a gold for a pet, to get one at an affordable price. My loss is their gain.

Yes Noah is the other golden. The gold does not show up that well in the picture.

Jeanne, I know I am not dreaming but did you not just start a thread asking $4500 for a parti and saying it could be registered AKC. I believe in protecting people here on YT if i really see something happening that is wrong. This is still on the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America page on color.

Apparently my accusers purpose was served in just making accusations about me, and since I have not been dishonestabout anything, they have nothing more to say.

It is a pity that people like her are allowed to ruin someones thread and then just go merrily on their way to push someone elses buttons.

I am just now seeing the new posts on this thread; a few posts have been deleted so I don't know what I've missed but the golden parti boy that Jeanie is advertising for 4500.00 is from another litter where both the sire and dam are AKC registered. This thread is about another litter that Jeanie has and she's selling the pups without AKC papers because the dams AKC paperwork isn't in hand yet. So in response to your statement "I believe in protecting people here on YT if i really see something happening that is wrong" - there is nothing wrong happening here, the pups in question are from 2 different litters. Maybe it would be wise to get your facts straight before pubically making false accusations of someone's wrong doing?

In regards to the YTCA link posted about off colors in the breed, this is a Breed Registry, and not a coat color registry. If a breed registry wants to have standards that are strictly adhered to for showing, that's fine, but if off colors are being produce in our registered dogs (and they have been since the beginning of the breed and in some very well known and hhighly regarded breeding programs), they should have the same right to their heritage, as their blue and tan siblings have. The link that was posted is full of mis information and in my opinion, scare tacticts. With the exception of blue born yorkies, other off colored yorkies are no more prone to health problems than traditional colored yorkies.

Sue, I appreciate your input but if you read my post again you will see that I said "Aren't you the same person that has a Parti for sale at $4500 and listing it as AKC" I wanted people to know what was happening on another thread. I imagine you are a Parti breeder and whatever your beliefs are about color or other things mentioned, does not make this $4500 parti accepted by the AKC.

I have been totally honest on both threads. And for you to try to put doubts into peoples minds about my integrity is simple harassment.

The idea that the YTCA might not approve of my price, has nothing at all to do with being honest.

I am not a member of the YTCA so therefore I am not governed by their beliefs. If you join a club, you adhere to the rules of that club, if you do not like the rules or do not agree with those rules, you do not join the club.

Just as I do not belong to the Catholic, or Jewish, or Muslim religions, so I do not join their churches or mosques or synagogs.

There is nothing dishonest about breeding and selling parti colored yorkies.

I thought when we posted pics in the nursery about our babies it was to be only talk about them and nothing to stir up drama?

Joan, i do not know anything about what Sue is talking about or the partis but I do agree that you are out of line posting on this thread altho I understand what you are saying about people maybe not reading the other thread. This is a puppy thread and for you to follow jeanie over here and start posting negative things is harrassment. puppy threads are supposed to be happy threads.

I am correct in stating that Partis can still be AKC registered, aren't I? If I am reading some of the above posts it sounds like someone is saying that Parti's can not be AKC..... maybe I'm just misunderstanding.....
