I'll be giving updates... Sheila |
Congratulations on your new baby! His name is adorable. Is your little girl full grown at 2.12lbs? If so, please rethink breeding her. She is WAY to small to be bred no matter what size the sire of the litter would be. It is probable that you would loose her due to whelping complications and the chances of the litter surving would be slim as the puppies would be too tiny. Please know that I am certainly not trying to be ugly. I'm just thinking about the safety of your babies. |
Since Isabella is already 1 year old and so tiny, please don't breed her. They should not be bred unless they are at least 5 pounds or more. |
Thanks for all the concern ...Isabella is not thur growing ...I really don't want to get into a discussion about this...There is a place for this discussion...Thanks,I am a very responsible person...I'm not going to do anything to jeopardize my girl...And I'm not trying to be ugly either... You just put the light on Isabella and my Eli is the focus...I know everything you have all said...Thanks for caring...;) Sheila |
OMG 2.4 lbs and you're thinking of breeding her? Please tell me you're bsing all of us. My biewer is a tad over 2 lbs at almost 9 mos. and I'm hoping she will get about 1 lb bigger. I'm scared to death to even have her spayed(she's never around any unaltered males). I know in about 3 mos I will have her spayed but, I look at her and there is no way in Hell(excuse my language) that I would ever even think about breeding her |
Well if Isabella is 1 year old she's just about full grown ...I don't see the weight and height changing @ 1.5 year or 2 yr olds. Explain to me why U think she's not thur growing? R U a registered breeder? |

Welcome to YT and congrats on your new additions. As others have pointed out, you girl is too small to breed (safely). General rule of thumb amongst reputable breeders is not to breed a female under 5 pounds and even THEN there are the matters of pelvic structure and genetics to consider. (Among other things!) I would hope this would have been something your breeding mentor would have covered with you. If you don't have a mentor, I suggest you get one. If you do and he/she gave you the go ahead, FIND A NEW MENTOR! Please consider what is the best option for your little ones and not just what you *want.* There is loads of information here for you to educate yourself with and tons of storys to share. :) |
