:aimeeyorkJust to let you know...she weighed 7lbs when I bred her the first time...and this time she was weighing a little more because I had never taken her off of puppy food. She is a standard yorkie.

Yes, we do weigh our puppies every day. They have all gained a little. This is not our first go round.

Jolie's first litter was 7 puppies. They were all healthy as well. Her last litter of puppies are all standard size also. The new owners have emailed me and they weigh between 5 to 7 pounds.

WOW! Eight pups! That is a shocker. Congratulations to Jolie and tell her to hang in there. With such large litters, do you ever have to suppliment their feed?

Jolie's last litter we never had to suppliment feed the puppies. So far this litter we haven't.

She took most of them out of the whelping box before I woke up last night. They are back in there now though.

Oh yes they are a joy....Jolie' is so proud of them and we are so proud of her...she is feeding all of them and we aren't having to feed any of them. What a girl!! :thumbup:
