New babies Hi, I've been comming here for awhile without posting but been reading a lot of your thread. I'm new at breeding yorkshires( I use to breed shi tzu and sharpei) When i bought my first female yorkshire i waited a year because i wanted a puppy comming from a good genetic. So i bought her and cost me a lot of money to b even able to breed her. Took me another year just to find the right dad to be. So the dad is ckc reg doing competion ...the parents of my yorky are still in the ring. So why is it that my new born puppy have some white? One has a tiny white spot on his chest kind of a star, they other one has a white spot too at the chest but a bit larger. One of the breeder say that it might go away as they grow up, and they other breeder say somewhere along the way a yorkshire must had a mix and was registered ckc anyway. Now if that white spot doest go I can't registered them it would b lying to the potential owner. Sorry for my bad english i'm french and living in quebec. So you think it will go away? Thanks again |
Many Yorkies are born with a white spot on their chest. They may also have some white on the paw and some of the toenails can be white. These things usually turn the proper color as the puppy ages. |
