Just want to present Lacey Bugs Babie
 
Hi everyone,
I just want to thank everyone for all the support and help with Lacey Bugs pups. We did loose one of her babie girls :(but I am proud to present her two babies one beautiful little boy and one beautful little girl name coming later.:D Little boy weighting in at 4.5 lbs and little girl weighting in at 3.5 both doing great. And mamma is doing wonderful. It will take her a day or two to get thrugh he c-section.:( I will post more pictures tomorrow

Awwww, I'm so sorry....but wanted to congratulate you on the little boy and girl! Can't wait to see them!!! Hope mommy is doing well soon. Give her hugs from me.

Sue, congratulation on your new babies. I am so sorry for the loss of the baby girl. I pray momma and babies will do well.

Good morning ladies

Lacey Bug and her babies did very well last night. :D Slept on the couch to watch her and the babies. Both of the babies gained wt already. Little boy went from 4.5 to 4 5/8 and little girl went from 3.5 to 3 5/8. I will come up with somes names here soon.
Lacey is being such a good mamma. She didnt eat anything last night. Do you think it is because she was so tired and after the c-section? She did eat this morning and loves the nutri-cal.
Boy... Dan and feel really bad all of the other dogs did not get the attention they are all use to yesterday. :( Poor Tiger would not even let us pick him up just kept running from us. He had a case of the poops this morning. :( I think he sensed something was wrong. I hope he will be ok will keep and eye on him today to make sure he may not have to go see the Dr.
And wanted to say thank you sooooo again for all the support and help. I hope and pray everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Sue, Lacey Bug is so pretty. She looks like a proud momma. It is common for them to not want to eat right after they have puppies, especially with having a c-section. Just do all you can now to get her to eat and make sure she eats 4 meals a day. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too.

Theyre beautiful, take a look at this pic of Kalani, I used 3 bands on either side of her to keep her hair from tangling and puppies getting caught in, worked great. She looked like a little sentipede when she walked, sure saved her coat.

Thank you for the heads up. I am always concerned about the pups getting tangled up in the hair. I will try it.

Lacey Bug Update
 
Good morning ladies,
Just a quick up date on Lacey and her pups. Babies are both doing real good. Both babies are gaining about .5 a day.
Mamma is doing well but... I am concerned that she may have milk fever in her upper teats. :( The teats are not well developed so I it will be hard to get puppies latched on to them to help bring them down. They are not real full but they are a little pink and warm to the touch. :confused:I put a hot wash cloth on them this morning and will try it again later. Does anyone else have any other suggestions on what to do? Yesterday she had one of her lower teats a little inflamed but was able help her with the warm cloth and putting a baby on it whenever they fed. By last night was all back to normal. I have never had a female have this prob producing too much milk. She is such a good mamma.
I called the people on my list and everyone wanted to come see the pups. Of course I let them know not until much later.
I will post more pictures of the pups on Friday when they are one week old.

Lacey Bug and her babies are beautiful! Thanks for sharing pictures with us. I really love the second picture you posted. That sleeping baby is so precious.
