Girl's six pack one week old today! 1 Attachment(s) Just an update on Girl and her six pack. Everyone is doing great, came thru the tails and dew claw ordeal better than I did! LOL, just really can't get use to that! Although I must say that this time we used the clamp method for the tails and it was much better. They are growing very well, the biggest boy at birth weighed 4.5 oz and now weighs 9.1 oz. The smallest of the pack weighed 2.3 oz at birth and now weighs 4.5 oz. He now weighs the same as what the biggest one did at birth. Thanks to everyone for all the well wish! Theresa |

Update Girls 6-pack at 2 weeks old! 3 Attachment(s) Wow how time flies when your having fun! Love seeing the changes every day! Thought I would post some pics for you all to enjoy! First pic is puppy pile, second pic is a pic of the smallest next to the largest! Third pic is the smallest little guy. The largest is now 15.1 oz and the little guy is 5.5 oz. Never had one this small, he has only gained about 3 ozs in the last two weeks. I had my vet check him out and he said he is fine, heart and everything sounds good, with all the others it is amazing how fast they are growing. I have been supplementing him, plus giving him alone time with Girl, his momma. Would appreciate any suggestions, or ideas, is he just going to be that small or what? |

Wow, what a bunch of sweet babies! And what a difference in size from the tiny to the biggest. That sure isn't much of a weight gain for that littlest guy, but I guess as long as he is gaining some,you're supplementing him and making sure he gets "alone" time with mama, he's warm and happy, and the vet says he's fine, then there is not much more you can do. I'll say an extra prayer for him to stay well and continue to grow. Continued good luck with these babies and keep the updates coming! |

5 weeks update 4 Attachment(s) Hello everyone, Been awhile since the last update, I lost the little guy at 3 weeks, it just broke my heart, I tried so hard to make sure he got his alone time with momma and was also supplamenting him too, I guess it wasn't just meant to be. The others are doing wonderful so entertaining, and growing like crazy. The biggest one is up to 26ozs and the smallest is at 22 ozs. The others range in between. They are so much fun and a whole lot of work, but loving every minute! Just had to update and send you all some pics! We had the granddaughter for the weekend, she was constantly wanting to hold babies, she done really well but makes me neverous, even with being right there! Hope you enjoy the pics! |
Sorry to hear of your loss:( The other pups look like they are doing well! And mom looks great! I dont know what I'd do if I had all those puppy kisses around. |
I am sorry you lost the little one Your other babies look great. I can understand your granddaughter wanting to hold them but I agree with you it would make me a nervous wreck. A lot of times we hear of accidents with the Yorkies even with adults. So be very cautious, which I am sure you are Hugs Deana Prestigeous Yorkies |
Ahhhh, I'm sorry to hear that you lost your littlest guy; after loving him and helping him as best you could for 3 weeks, that makes it so tough to lose him. ((((HUGS)))) The rest of them at 5 weeks look great and at this age and beyond, they get to be so much fun! The weeks are flying by, so enjoy them while you can. |
