Gina, it looks like you've got everything except the photo album. You have to make an album to add pictures.

I'm having problems with my signature. Every time I put a URL in there it says "No HTML allowed". How come practically everyone else has links in their signature&it doesn't let me do it?!? I just don't get it, lol. Help please?

Sorry if this has been covered but...
Can you send a group message to everone on your friend list, or do you have to post the messages individually?? I got some cute messages with icons from some people and I am trying to learn how to send them one back. Can I post something that will go to all 13 people on my friend list??

There is no way to send group messages to everyone. One issue is the potential for abuse or spam, another is that there can be a major strain on the server if members send group messages to all their friends when they have hundreds of friends. We believe it is also more personal if you send messages individually to your friend. Thank you.

For those who wish to paste wallpaper or background pictures on their page, first you need to upload those pictures you wish to use to a Yorkietalk Album and mark it "profile." There are about 8 different places where a picture can be used to give your page special effects. You can use a stagnant picture or an animated picture in these places, but first you must upload the pictures to you album. You only need a very small picture to do this, because the page "tiles" the picture to size. The pictures I included show where you can paste the address on your "customize profile page." If you just click on what looks like a folded envelope it shows the pictures in your albums marked "profile", and you can just select one of those, making setting up the page really easy.

Very good explaination! :thumbup: It really is pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

The only music you can put on your profile page is U-tube videos. You can do a seach using the name of the a song or band you like. Once you find the video, you might want to read the above link for further instructions.

One way to do it is click on the little paper clip that is on top of the message box. See picture. Attachment 264956 A menu will come up that says "Manage attachments." Click on this and upload your picture.

Nancy you are so helpful on this site, I hope everyone appreciates all the help you give. :D you just taught me something new. I always scroll down and click on manage attachments. No more scrolling.. :p

Oh thank you, I'm just giving back some of what others have given me, we pass the torch a lot on this site! :D By the way, after you upload the pictures, you can click on the "paperclip" again and it allows you to put the pictures in the text of the post, instead of at the bottom of the post, another fun feature. Example is in post 57.
