Breeding 3 lb Yorkies!! This is Awful!!!http://www.goldiesyorkies.com/forsale.htm |
They even have mommies that are 2lbs!!!! That is just sick! How can you breed a female dog ar 2 freakin pounds?!!? I guess they think she is disposable! because she has a higher chance at dieing then everyone else.... I still can't believe it!!! |
UH-OH! Please don't let this thread get ugly!! I can see it coming  |

Jazzy, I have issues w/ people who breed purebreds out to another purebred of a different breed to make a mix for the sake of doing it. If someone is doing it because they actually have a goal in mind to create a new breed and set forth a standard and have it serve a purpose on such a level that it can be proud of and be recognized by a large kennel society like the AKC for example, then that's fine. That's how our "purebreds" became such. They were all mixes in the beginning...but that's not how they ended up. When put in the right loving and knowledgeable hands, mixed breeds turned purebred over generations can blossom into something beautiful! Now, we all know that's likely not the case here, just thought I'd share my 2 cents too. ;) And there are some damn cute mix breeds out there...but cuteness and a soft coat doesn't/shouldn't earn you breeding rights. |
i dont believe those are the real weights on those dogs....they just put them thinking there puppies will sell better....i am a breeder and mine look the around the same size and there not 2 pounds....false advertisment....and thats pathetic.....i have 3.9 and 4 lb females and daddy is 3 lb and no problems....i don't think those dogs only weighed 2 to 3 lbs by those pics. http://www.goldiesyorkies.com/forsale.htm on this site |

I contacted them to ask for a pic of her in someones hand's to see her weight. She does look very very smalll. She may be between 2-3lbs but basically 2lbs.... Still how sad either way. |
okay i first want to say that i dont mean to offend anyone at all i just want to give my opinion.... i dont think that mixing dogs intentionally is right it destroys purebreeds and could in the end make them extinct... for all the mix dogs already out there i do like them there really cute and its not there fault there mixed... yorkies were a result of mixing dogs but they mixed them soley for the benifit of the breed to bring out some good traits im pretty sure it was so that they could hunt beter then later they got a standard to them and we have tried to keep it for many years but to mix 2 purebreeds just for the heck of it maybe just to see what comes out is not right... just my 2 cents though oh and once again i do think mixes are cute but i would never intentionally buy one from someone who intentionally breeds them... oh and sorry for any type-os |
Jazzy Jazzy. As another NJ girl, I have to ask you why is it that you have trouble with Fancy breeding mix breeds intentionally but have no trouble with a "Certain" petstore in Southern NJ doing the same? I could be wrong but you have reccomended that particular petstore on more then one occassion, haven't you? My Tia is a mix breed 1/2 Yorkie 1/2 Maltese. She's hardly ugly. I'm not in favor of intentionally breeding for a mix as there are too many mixes now in rescue BUT you can't defend one breeder who sells mixes and rip apart another for the same reason. Just my .02 Elaine |
Fancy, I looked on your website. You seem to have an aweful lot of breeds you sell? Schnoodles, poodles, cockapoo, Yorkies, etc. Not trying to start anything, just saying seems like you have your hands in a lot of different breeds. I think I can see the point Jazzy was trying to make. Elaine |
I work at a kennel. If a breeder is responsible and has enough of help, many breeds can be fine. The lady I work for only breeds poodles and she has three people working for her. She stays up until 2 am some nights taking care of the poodles. If you have your heart in it, you can do it. |
Many Breeds? I am a Breeder. I have two baby litters that are 3-4 weeks old. and 2 puppies that are ready to go to homes. I give a guarantee and stand behind it. I don't sell sick puppies. Gilda Anderson from Ft Lauderdale is a Broker. Sells 153 puppies of many breeds, on Next day pets. Both the Mayor and the Humane Society are trying to shut her down because of her many court claims of selling sick puppies and of puppies dieing, after Vet bills of over $1000. Next day pets actually supports her selling because of the revenue she brings in to them. I bet she pays them at least $2000. a month for advertising. Some of her puppies sell for $5000. Can you imagine buying a $3000. dog and have it die within 2 weeks, with a vet bill of half the value of the baby? |
Fancy, I think one poster that asked teacup ? , is wondering why you are calling your darling yorkie pup a teacup? |
Fancy you stated ,I have 2 Tiny little girls that I want to breed and didn't want to miss another heat. and then in another of your posts mention 1 of your females is 3 1/2 lbs that you plan to breed. So with that said, why do you post a link to Goldies pointing out their so called teacups. A poster asked about your different breeds and then you start talking about some gal in FL. I am not starting anything with you, or say you are doing anything right or wrong. Just seems strange to me that you would post a link to Goldies when you have stated you intend to breed 3 1/2 to 4 lb females......... |
