May Be Looking for Biewers

Who breeds Biewers here? I'm not sure where to post this. I don't want a Biewer right now but I think they are just gorgeous and in the future, maybe in a couple of months to a Yr i would def. like to get one so i am just doing research and wondering who here breeds them. Thanks:)

I would be happy to provide you information or answer any of your questions. These are wonderful dogs to meet and live with.

I know exactly what you mean. I too hope to get a biewer next year and I always like to look for good reputable breeds way ahead of time. It gives you more time to look for great breeders and to get to know them and know what to expect.

Kathy785 and Scrapindee are excellent breeders. They're always available to answer all your questions, and really care about their babies going to good solid homes. I bought one from them, and if I ever get another they will be the one's I buy from.

Oh Sarah! I am so with you on this! When I move back to the States and settle down and stuff, first thing i'm doing is getting a biewer! I have already begun to set aside all the funds he OR she will ever need! been looking into all the info that I can, checking our a bunch of breeders... they are soo special i really can't wait (but I have to:( ) .. siigh... that day will come some day .. hopefully soon!!!

We have a couple of little girls right now and hope to have a couple of litters in November. The number of breeders in the U.S. continues to grow, so you shouldn't have a problem finding that perfect puppy. Just remember to do your research and ask lots of questions. Good luck in your search! :)

It appears that there will be some selection in the future for all those with Biewer fever.

ARCHIE 10-03-2007 07:13 AM

There was a beautiful one, 5mos old, posted for sale here yesterday for only $1,300.00. Price was reduced because she had been sold but it didn't work
out. I thought about her all night long. The price is wonderful and she was
beautiful. I hope you can find the thread.

Thank you. That is one of my little girls. We are looking into a couple of people, but she is not promised to anyone yet.

mypreciouspups 10-03-2007 05:23 PM

biewers

go to www.thefurkids.com

or go to your browers and these people breed both yorkies, and biewers.
She is in Ontario Canada, just outside of Ottawa. I have been to her place.
Very nice breeder.

Please post everywhere and ask lots of folks about the person/breeder you want to buy from.

PM folks, go to websites, ask lots of questions. Don't pay for importing when there are dogs and breeders in the U.S. JMHO

i was actually wondering about this to be honest. i know for me i would prolly prefer to buy from a breeder in the US b/c it'd be a lot less travel and stress on the poor baby. and esp now there are so many resources and pple available in the US, and so much more info coming up everyday. but do a lot of pple still import from germany still even with the US breeders?

btw dee .. how's the lil girl doing? is she on your website?

scrapindee 10-03-2007 09:02 PM

This is my opinion--so I don't get flamed:

The reasons for buying in the U.S. is because you can go to the breeder's home. The breeder can go to your home. There is more ways to get assistance if the dog is sick, or has a genetic defect later on. It is difficult, if not impossible to get most foreign breeders, to replace dogs, or honor agreements. Also, most foreign breeders do not have (enforceable) contracts. In the U.S., there are puppy lemon laws that can and are enforced.

There are different lines in Germany and sometimes it is preferable to import but the person looking for a pet--not breeding or showing--should be concerned about the health, and well-being of the puppy--new lines wouldn't be the issue.

Again everyone needs to do their homework; visit the breeders; go to the shows. Talk to folks who have the breeder's earlier litters.

Now as to the little girl: Are we talking about Emmellie? She is adorable--I am going to try and post new pictures of all 5 on Friday playing in the yard.

If we are talking about Abbi she is expecting puppies on Halloween. Beauty is in heat; Judy is looking forward to just being a pet for a while; and Gabbi has been enjoying being one of the family.

Great info! the personal contact and being able to see everything in person and talk in person would mean the most to me, to make me feel secure in who i get a dog from.

uhmm as to the little girl i was referring to the one that the other lady posted about looking for home b/c something didn't work out? I just looked at your page and oh my goodness! they are all so cute!

thanks for the update on all your girls! wow sounds like a busy time coming up huh? can't wait for the pics!

I couldn't agree more!! Support the American breeders. International travel is very hard on a puppy, no food-water, cold, and it is terrifying for them. Then they arrive with health issues, parasites, disease, so there's further expense for the new owner, and sometimes the problems cannot be resolved even with great medical care.

Do some online research, or PM those with Biewer avitars.
