now I am confused. you said in the post above that you were going to keep them both and now you are talking again about letting one live with Mary. Are you keeping them, letting them go or what? it would be nice to know.

So what's going on...are you still planning on rehoming them? Or are you staying here and keeping the girls...a little bit of confusion on this end...or have you not really decided yet?

Zsa-Zsa is definately going to live in Iowa with Mary. We meet on Sunday. Zsa-Zsa will have the life I had planned with her, enter her in competition and show off her champion bloodlines.
I want so much to just stay in the US and keep my girls, however my husband will be in Budapest for 2 years - possibly longer. Its not like we can afford to keep a house here and over there. Our phone bills would be so high, flying to see each other would become so expensive.
I didn't mean to confuse anyone - it's been so difficult to decide what is best for the girls. Re-homing is scary and emotional. I want my girls to be happy, be cared for and loved. When Mary called - several times, then I called her and we talked and then emailed and emailed more I knew that she would give Zsa-Zsa the life I wanted for her. How can I ask for more than that?
I apologize for the drama - didn't mean to do that. It really has been an emotional roller coaster for me. Selling our home, packing, passports, closing my shop, saying good byes to friends and family, how to find the best homes for my girls and going to a country I know little about and dont speak their language is scary.

Well that clears it up, I wish you well in your future endeavors. So Eva is still available, right?

I just wanted to thank Joanie for sharing her incredible little girl with our family. :bighug: I know what a difficult decision this was for her and feel very blessed that she chose to let Zsa-Zsa be adopted by our family. She will be called Zoe by our family - needed a shortened version. She has been a delight. We arrived home last night, she has been eating well (we made sure her favorites were on hand), has found and used her piddle pad area, and made it through her first night without her sister. She is napping on my lap at this moment. She is such a trooper!

Is Eva still needing a home? I may have another home for her in Iowa! I have talked to two people about her, and both are very interested! Please let me know soon!

The girls are very sweet.. so sorry you are having to rehome them but sometimes you just have to do what you need to do.

I know I'm biased however now you and Sarah can testify that these girls are almost perfect. I worked very diligently with them, training them, socializing them and loving them. I spent every day with them since they were 10 weeks old and expected that they live up to the Champions in their bloodlines and be the intelligent Yorkies I know the breed to be. I wanted anyone who saw them to understand that this breed is special - not just small or cute but smart, loyal and brave. Those girls are that and more.
I'm grateful that Mary opened her heart and home to Zsa-Zsa (Zoe) and Sarah flew all the way from NY to take Eva (Sophia) home with her. These 2 women are awesome and I am forever in their debt for understanding how difficult this situation was for me. I'm thankful that Yorkie Talk helped all of us find one another and create a situation that is best for these beautiful Yorkie girls.
Thank you everyone for your support, kind words and may all the Yorkies everywhere find homes like Zsa-Zsa and Eva have.

You are absolutely right about their personalities, courage...
Zoe has already shown her bravery: while out on the deck, she saw a robin in the yard - she sure intimidated him! I have to say though - the firefly was another story; she ran as fast as she could away from him!:animal37 Here is an updated picture of her while we were out this afternoon. She has personality plus and is such a smarty. She has shown me her dance rountine, how she sits, kennels, lays and shakes!

I'm so happy they both found great homes! Yay for YorkieTalk!

I've been following this one closely! I wanted them both!!! But, Emma and Milli said they want to be the only puppies for awhile, and DH said 3 girls (including me) in the house were enough :D

I went yesterday to Chicago to pick up little Eva, now called Sophia. She is now home with me and is doing great! Believe me when I say she is sooo well trained and sooo sweet! I know that Joanie def. took the time to train them. She is the sweetest little girl. Teddy and London are still getting used to her but they all get along very good. Her and London look so cute together. She is a special girl and I am so glad that Joanie let me take her into my home and give her that home she deserves. She is def. going to be very loved here! :)

I can't wait to see pics of London and Sophia together. Poor Teddy better get used to the females bossing him around. ;)

Thank you for saying this - however I have not stopped crying since the girls left. I'm not sure I'll ever feel good about this but I'm so greatful to Sarah and Mary for being supportive and providing incredible homes to the girls.

I know what you're going thru, I had to rehome my 2 girls that I had from puppies because of moving it literally broke my heart, But its gets easier knowing they are in a good home and they do make change easier then we humans do. Said a little prayer for ya.:angel:
