Looking for male under 5bs in OK,KS,AR,MO
 
Hi all I am still on the hunt for a male friend for Luna. I am looking for a smaller male since she is only 6lbs. Black and gold is preferred but i love all colors. My price range is up to 750.00 AKC is a requirement so i know that limits my choices.

I believe she has 1 AKC Male...should be no bigger than 5 lbs full grown. Good luck!

you guys know the boy does not have to be smaller than the girl. the boy being smaller will not make her have more babies nor smaller ones. the girl determines the size. so if you are looking for that reason, no need to. you can have a 6-7 lb boy

I am more worried that a larger dog would hurt her....because she doesnt know she is a small dog but my vet did recommend getting a smaller male Thanks for the info

Are you plannig to breed? If you are there is a little more than picking a smaller male for her....you need to know his pedigree and every dog that is in that pedigree should be studied.

Your girl is a good size..... I have a small boy that throws big puppies, 6-7 pounds...

If your looking for stud dog $750.00 is way below price. Reputable breeders do not readily let go of their dogs with open registration.

aww as always a little too late :) we just got settled in here and have convinced the hubby now that we are in a house with a back yard that i should get luna a boyfriend

I have a little boy that should be around 4/5 pounds if you might be interested but I need to tell you up front that his price for full registration is more than $750. Feel free to email mail me if you'd like to see pictures and pedigree. He is out of my Champion sired male. Terri:aimeeyork

if she is too small for a dog her size, you may want to rethink breeding her.

i wasnt meaning for breeding purposes i am talking about in general playing and what not because she does think she is a big dog and will pick fights

I think they all think they are big dogs. My baby puppies will lunge and jump at my larger puppies, then they scoot around trying to hide when the going gets rough. I have two males but not for the money you are talking of spending. Good luck in your search. Just the right baby is out there somewhere for you.

I obviously am not making myself clear let me start over...i am seriously entertiaining the thought of breeding IF I FIND THE RIGHT MALE if not then i just want a small friend for luna i do not want a larger male in case she decides she wants to pick fights with him he would hurt her...no she is not aggressive but can be very moody (but then again cant we all ) so i hope this clarifys things for everyone. Thank you everyone for your help thus far.
