WHAT? :eek: I have been PM-ing and personal emailing with Brenda the last 2 days about obtaining her. Brenda had given me her street address and told me to send $100 deposit and she would hold Sadie Ann for me until mid April.
I'm sorry but this is wrong!! I realize Brenda needs to sell Sadie Ann but I was under the impression we had already made a deal. Guess I was wrong. :confused:

I guess not me! Yesterday morning I got an email from Brenda that said if I wanted her to send a $100 deposit and she would hold her until the 19th - I am traveling to see my son who's in the military and then on to see my mother-in-law for her 65th birthday. I thought we had an agreement and I had emailed Brenda to ask some questions regarding the C-section and any complications but didnt hear back from her. This morning I see she sold Sadie Ann to someone else. I'm just really confused.

You are so right. That is just plain wrong. she should have told you if she was working with someone else.

It's ok - I'm calmer now, but what a shock this morning when I saw the post. just caught me by surprise - The most important thing is that Sadie Ann gets a great forever home.

Wow, I didn't realize all of this was going on.
I agree you should have been informed. Maybe she didn't like the fact that you were asking about the C section., but you as a future owner of this Yorkie had every right to ask whatever you needed to. Although I am happy for Lefowler. That sucks what happened to you, and the simple fact that you had gotten your hopes up. You should get to the bottom of this, after all you did have a Gentlemen's Agreement and where I come from (CHGO.) that holds a lot of Weight:friendsh:

I really am ok with this. I had just talked to my vet yesterday, asked brenda for Sadie's vet info so the two vets could talk about the last litter and then found out she was sold to someone else.
I want a good home for Sadie Ann - that's all that is important!!

Where in Chicago are you? I'm in Champaign - but my sister's in Naperville.

I am sorry about the confusion, I did the same thing you did, just emailing and pming her. I guess I just got the deposit to her faster, but I am sorry for the confusion. I am so excited about bringing her home!

I don't think you should be sorry - I do appreciate your addressing the issue though. I wish you and Sadie Ann many years of happiness together!!

I really don't live in Chicago anymore, but I was born and raised there. Also raised 3 of my 4 kids there. Five years ago we moved to Frankfort which is a SW Suburb. for the Fantastic High School out here for my youngest. I got tired of paying for Catholic Schooling which costs as much as some Colleges. Sad but True the only way to give your kids a Good Education in the Inner City is Private Schooling.Sorry to Ramble on.
Also I'm Glad you're Ok with Sadie's Rehoming.

I always say I couldnt live in Chicago - I'm a country girl. Born in KY, finished school in GA and now live in farming country in IL. My sister loves Naperville and is a librarian for her girls school. My youngest went to a private school - he just didnt do well in public school. He now is with the 82nd Airborne division. I think he wouldn't be doing as well if he would have staying in public school. Our oldest loved public school though -

Of course I'm ok with Sadie Ann going to a good home. That was why I wanted her - just to love her. These babies just want our love - my boys are out of the house now and my 2 baby Yorkie girls are the light of my life. I'd fill this house up with them if hubby would let me.

Let me just tell you, she is more than I expected! She is so pretty, and her coat is just so silky! I am so impressed, and bgeier is a wonderful person! I am just so pumped!
