Hey there, I am new to Yorkie Talk and We are currently looking to adopt a little Yorkie. I have been looking around for a while for a Yorkie but can't seem to find anything in our price range. If anyone knows of any Yorkies near the Maine area for adoption please let me know. I am willing to travel and would be very greatful if anyone could help me out. Thank you so much :)

thank you for replying. I checked out that site but there was nothing in my area and they were kinda out of my price range. I am hoping to mabey adopt a little girl, I have been looking at some rescue sites:) Thanks again.

How far are you willing to travel i know there are some here in indiana. What price range are you looking in?

hmmm, Idianna might be a little far. We are hoping to travel no further than New York. We are looking for a Yorkie under $500. Thank you for your reply though.

Acutally there was a post on here not too long ago about a yorkie needing to be relocated in new york. I kind of figured indiana was too far but i still wanted to check. But dont get discouraged if he doest come along right away. I waited forever bacause i couldnt afford one over 600 then one day i saw an ad in the paper for a 10 week old AKC registerd male for 300. Now he's my baby boy and hes spoiled rotten. ill see if i can find anything.

Ok go to www.petfinder.com and put in Augusta, ME as your location. heres an example of what i found.

thanks for the link, she was so cute, but they said you can't have kids under 15. I have a 7 year old and a 9 year old. I am waiting to hear back from these people in NY about this little girl... search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=8024152 she is so cute!

You're welcome. I understand what its like to desprately want a little yorkie in your life and have trouble affording one. I hope you find the little yorkie of your dreams. Good Luck let me know if you find the one!
