Looking for Yorkie in IL / GA / MS :)HI CAN YOU YOKIE TALK MEMBERS HELP ME I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A YORKIE TERRIER FOR YEARS LIKE 4 YEARS AND EVERY TIME I FIND ONE THEY ARE FROM PUPP MILLS:eek: OR LOOK LIKE IT WHEN I LOOK AT THE WEBSITES THE PEOPLE BREED ALOTS OF DOGS AND THAT MAKES ME THINK IT'S FROM A PUPPY MILL:eek: AND I DON'T WANT THAT I WOULD LOVE TO GET A YORKIE TERRIER FEMALE AKC CKC SHOTS DONE WORMING DONE X RAYS KNEES HIPS AND EVERYTHING CHECKED HEALTH YORKIE:) THIS IS MY LAST TIME I'M AT MY ENDS:mad: I'M JUST SO SAD I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO AND STUFF:( I'M WILLING TO PAY 400-1400 FOR A TWO MONTH OLD YORKIE TERRIER :) FAMALE IS THAT TO HARD TO ASK PEOPLE KEEP TELLING ME THAT YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY 4,000 FOR A FEMALE YORKIE TERRIER :mad: AND THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO GET MALE BUT I DON'T WANT A MALE:mad: I WANT A FEMALE THANKS AND IF YOU CAN HELP THAT WOULD BE GREAT :) AND I'M IN ILLNOIS BUT I CAN GO TO GEORGIA AND MISSISSPPI I CAN PAY SHIPPING TOO THANKS. |
:wavey: I'm sure you will find your furbaby soon. It takes time to find the right one. I should know, it took me years to find Princess. After looking at sooooo many furbabies, just one look in her eyes, I knew she was my Princess. Hang in there, I know it's been a long time, but you will find her.;) |
you will find one There must be some breeders there in Illinois. Try going to akc.org and you can get a list of breeders in your state. Have you checked the Sunday Chicago Tribune? I grew up in Illinois....great state! Good luck, I know you will find the right baby. |

I know it is hard to wait when you want one so badly...and who wouldn't. But just think about how wonderful she will be when you do find the perfect one. You will not regret waiting if it means getting one not from a mill.:thumbup: I don't think you should have a problem finding one...even a female...in your price range. However, you may want to reconsider the age you are looking for. 2 months (8 weeks) is a very young age for a Yorkie pup to be released to it's new home. You will find that most (reputable) breeders will not let them go until they are 12 weeks, sometimes older. Good luck with your search!:) |
I have a few web sites from KY. I paid $950.00 for Hannah. The same breeder has a new litter of pups but not from the same mom as Hannahs, this mom is bigger, I think around 8 lbs, but the same dad and he is small. I will give you her web site but the pups are not on there yet....Its kyyorkies.com. Here is one in my home town but I do not know the breeder, I do know someone that got a pup from her and she is healthy...morningglorykennel.com. Here is the last one, I did speak to this breeder on the phone a few times and she was very nice but she does not ship her puppies and they are ckc registered not akc, I don't know if that matters to you. www.yorkies-r-us09.com |

You shouldn't have to pay $4000 for a female, that's just not true. You can get a very nice female for $1400 from a reputable breeder, I'm sure. :) Take your time and continue to research the breeders before you buy from them. I agree with BamaFan, most reputable breeders don't release their pups until they are 12 weeks of age...8 weeks is just too young to be separated from the mom and littermates, in my opinion. |
I dont know how far you are willing to drive but I am a breeder in Ohio... i only have 6 yorkies and they all stay in my home with me as part of my family. I strive on health first and foremost! I am keeping a female from a litter I just had but am concerned that she may not be big enough to use to breed and could possibly sell her down the road... she is only 8weeks old and not ready for a new home yet even if I was going to sell her, but depending on her 12 week weight i may have to sell her. Im sure you will find your perfect little puppy when the time is right... good luck in your search! |
