i can see both sides... you never know who to trust these days and letting a complete stranger into your house can be a scarry thing... however it would be nice to see the parents... as for the living conditions... well i think if they are bad once you see the pups you arent going to care about any living conditions and you would probably want to take them just to get out of the living conditions, that is if they were bad.... at least i know i would... just to give them love and a special loving home that they didnt have. i did sense something strange myself with midge she seemed kinda unsure about everything but who knows maybe she was just being causious just like suzies mommy.... you just never know who to trust these days. |
puppies & visiting __________________________________________________ ______________ Quote:
Hello, I have no problem with people visiting but my insurance company may <LOL> No seriously, Yes I have had bad experiences, however, I am Very particular about who comes here. When I was showing my dogs, NO body touched my dogs!! U wash your hands with sanitizer & u do not touch any pups until they have been vaccinated! If u came here u would have a change of clothes & step your feet in bleach water & do not come in my house & may view my dogs outside as I have NO idea where u have been, what u have touched nor what u may have walked thru! I do NOT take chances with the spreading of contagious diseases with ANY of my animals! If anyone can not respect that then by all means go elsewhere. I have found it a lot easier for everyone to meet somewhere halfway as well as being easier on the dogs. I have brought siblings as well as parents with me for buyers to see in person (it's a pain but I have) but still u do not touch my dogs. Just a protective old woman of her kids :) Oh by the way, when I meet u, if the dog does not like u (which has happened only on a couple ocassions) U do not get my dog! |
im sure ill be the same way, maybe not stepping into bleach water...lol... but i will be causious just the same.... |
When I bought my first Yorkie Riley, I didn't go to the house. I met the woman somewhere. She brought the mom and everything, but I would have been more comfortable going to her house. Also, if you do have someone come to your house to buy a puppy cause your a breeder, you can take the puppies outside or something. The people don't have to come to your house. I personally just wouldnt want my puppy delivered because when we met the lady who sold Riley to us, we felt obligated to take him (we would have anyways) because she had to drive in from another state. That's why I prefer visiting the breeder's house. |
Male Yorkie For Sale I have an 8 mos. old male for sale. I'm in the Indiana area and am willing to travel half way to bring him to you. He has a teddy bear face and lots of hair. That's why I named him Tedi Bair. He's a very nice looking yorkie. He will weigh 6-7 lbs. full grown. My husband isn't that fond of animals but he says Tedi looks like a show dog. He's housebroken, a purebred, has dog papers and crate trained. He sleeps in a dog crate and stays in it when I'm not home. If interested contact Pam Brewer at 765-348-0521, or email me at brewerpg@msn.com. :) |
