hello :) i want a yorkie so bad i have looked on petfinder but i cant find one could some one help me i live in flat rock alabama :aimeeyork i have wanted a yorkie for 3 years now :eek: thank you ;)

Before you look on petfinder or any of the other sites like that Please go to the YTCA website and look for a breeder near you. unless you know a breeder personally and their reputation it is the safest thing to do IMO.

sorry but what is YTCA i dont know all the word yall use yet and what is IMO. i dont know any breeders personally

I am sorry i should have been clearer. It is the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America website. They do have a listing of reputable breeders and it is listed by region. I am sure you can gain some knowledge by visiting and reading their websiteas well. Good luck in your search, dawn P.S. IMO is In my opinion

Have you checked yorkie rescue groups? I think that would be wonderful if you could rescue one.

A lady just listed a young male for $300 in Missouri. That's a pretty good deal!

Wow! Well, good luck. I've never seen any go that cheap. If you only have $150, what will you do about vet bills, food, toys, grooming. Buying the dog is only the initial cost, there is a lot more to it than that. I would hate for you to get a pup and then not be able to care for it.

i have most of the stuff for one all i need if to buy vet bills when i get on i could groom it my self. i just want a yorkie that all i have wanted for three years

yorkielover, You may be able to adopt one. I have not seen any go for around 150 so I cant point you in any direction although I did see a post by redneckwomen saying she knew about some that were 200. I saw it in the wanted section. Good luck on your search
