He's an absolute doll, and just the right size for GiGi to play with! He's out of my price range, but I hope he finds the wonderful loving home he deserves.

I don't know what ocd is. Hope you are feeling better. From reading your posts, you have put a lot into training Connor along with the obedience training, also see that you have several children, maybe as time goes by you might be happy that you kept him. Children learn so much in having a pet, and one to love, and teaches them responsability in caring for one. What ever decision you make we wish the best for you and Connor. We always was fortunate to have a dog in our home, Jack never was around one until we got married (50 years :) last May) as his parents didn't want one, and he sees the joy in having one, he said he really missed out growing up without one. Our kids all grown now and they and the grand kids have one, our daughter just got a little beagle, soooo cute. I can tell you love this little fella and are wanting the best for him. Best wishes to you and Connor and your family. I am glad to see you are being very concientious in placing him with someone, it truely shows your love for him, bless you in doing whatever you feel is right for him and prayers for you to feel better.

I do pencil portraits at home while the kids are at school. You can go to www.kimsartisticexpressions.com and see some of my work. For a drawing like Connors, 11 X 14 just the head is $75.00. Thanks for asking! Kim

Oh, too bad I already have my hands full with 4. They are keeping me so busy. Connor looks adorable and you are right around the corner from me. I'll keep my eyes open for anyone that is looking for a yorkie. People at the dog park are always asking me where I got mine. Everyone always thinks they are so cute.

How old was Connor in the picture you posted?

Good luck finding a home for Connor.

Connor was six months old in that picture.

OCD is Obsessive/Complusive Disorder. I do not think the OP was really saying she has this disorder, but instead means that as she gets older she wants things more in order, less muss and fuss, etc. Probably between 2 small children and a dog, it is just too much for her.
I am just the opposite. I get less obsessive/complusive as I get older. Over the years, I have learned life goes much smoother if I pick my battles or anixety causing situations.
Based on the OP's children's ages vs my adult children's ages, I am assuming she is much younger than I am.
To the OP, good luck in finding the perfect home for Connor. He is a cutie!

Jazzy Girl you are completely correct. I feel really bad that I have unintentionally led others to believe that I have a disorder. I do not. I was just being sarcastic about my need to control everything in my life. Unfortunately my fears, worries, ecetera, get worse as I get older. For instance I used to fly on planes with little worry, now when I fly I am near hyterics. I actually got off of a plane in August because it was so small. I worry when I ride amusement park rides now that they may break while I am on them. I want my house clean always. It bothers me that laundry is never finished. Never! These are the things I was referring to.
I just recently joined this group and I have to say you guys are very kind and loving. Every since I posted the message about Connor, I have read your messages on this board and others. I read about your love for your dogs and I think it has given me a different look at Connor. He really is a good dog. We just need to work through some issues together. I think he is just going through the terrible twos. My children did the same and I still kept them around! Thanks you guys.

Hi Kim, (((((((hugs to you))))))) Oh how you remind me of myself through many years in my life about wanting everything in order and a clean, clean home. Beings that I had to take on doing everything the last eight years I have had to learn to adjust to many changes, and in all honesty am not worrying about the undone daily tasks like I use to. Life is so unpredictable, as I have learned since Jack came down with Parkinsons eight years ago, then also my having two recent strokes. Connor really does sound like a good boy and you have really put a lot of effort into training and with the obedience classes, you are being a caring and loving yorkie mom, hopefully together you will be able to work through some of the issues confronting you both and in the end he will enjoy the many years of being blessed with you and your family. We wish the best outcome for you and your decision regarding Connor. Yorkies are so very special, we not only bond to them but they do us. By the way your drawings and art is absolutely beautiful, I showed Jack and his comment was," Awesome." What a gift God has blessed you with. Please do keep us updated on Connor and how things are going. Glad you found this wonderful site, it is marvelous, and the folks here like you said are so caring.
Bless you and your family and Connor.
Kind regards,
Patti and Jack ~~ Baby Blessing~~

OCD.....ha ha ha,.....now that was too funny....

Who did you purchase your little guy from? I am somewhat familiar with the Georgia breeders....although, it may be a local person.....

He is a cutie, I must admit.....

kim16 12-06-2006 12:51 PM

I purchased him from Ty Ava Yorkies in Marietta

topknot 12-06-2006 01:55 PM

Have you told Ava that you need to rehome him yet? If not, it is important that you do, I know she would want to know and she may know someone really good that would make a good home for him. I have in my puppy contracts that the owner must contact me if they can no longer keep their pup from me. It gives me a chance to buy them back or help find a suitable home.
